Marker Tracking allows discrete points to be traced/tracked across an image, both temporally and spatially (across multiple camera views). In the application example below, a 2-cam (16 Mpx) CXP-12 system is used to track the motion of a robotic arm. Each identified point is shown in the table to the right, marked in green with the respective 3D-residuum. For each step, the identified points are indicated for each camera giving users a clear overview of the found markers. Users can view the trajectory of each point and perform graphical plotting of position, displacement, velocity, acceleration, and angle between mutliple points.

YOUR helicopter is here - as is Simcenter STAR-CCM+ 2406 🥳 https://lnkd.in/ei6Zy5Wh A few days ago I asked for your input on some REALLY old (looking) helicopter simulation - and here is the result! 🚁 I chose to highlight the feature special to this simulation: the Blade Element Method, a sub-method of Virtual Disk. Which means: we don't resolve the blade geometrically. We have these "boxes" that you can see - areas where we tell the mesh "pls apply some source terms for momentum, lift, etc. as if there was a blade". These boxes are a semi-transparent threshold of the field function saying "Here is blade 1 or 0". 🧙♂️ the magic is happening in this box - so I applied a q-criterion isosurface in this threshold. This is why you can "see" the blades. Well, actually you can't, but their effects are visualized. 🌊 but there is more! I also used the q-criterion isosurface in the whole domain. 🌈 I colored these two isosurfaces with velocity magnitude scalar - in our fancy "Siemens Fire Advanced Logarithmic" colorbar, taking colors from the Siemens color scheme (dark blue, purple, pink, red, orange, yellow and white). 🌬️ If you look closely, I also show the ROBIN (heli fuselage) colored in coefficient of pressure, greyscale.
