We work with our venues to conduct a thorough risk assessment to identify potential hazards and risks. We consider everything specific to the venue, weather conditions, type of event, equipment used, and anything else from ensuring the safe movement of guests within the venue to assisting with developing comprehensive safety plans and ensuring all is communicated to everyone. What else do you do?

There is a wide range of specialisations within Event Safety. There are Event Safety generalists and then there are Event Safety specialists. Wow, just saw a new title for yet ANOTHER Safety 'love-in'. A "Safety Symposium". I haven't seen this one yet 😆 Does this mean it's 'different' 🤣 We have; Safety Forums, Congresses, Summits, Conventions, Conferences, Shows, Exhibitions, Expos, Workshops and Fairs...and yet there's a glaring similarity, among them all. They produce very little in the way of 'meaningful' improvements to our worsening safety performance. Yet, it's an opportunity for more 'photos' with speakers and delegates. Watch for the LinkedIn posts...they're coming! Bravo to the Safety Profession. Self-promotion, accolades and attention. Yep, that's what we need more of to keep people safe at work! 😏
