🌿 A correspondence mapping between ESRS standards and TNFD recommendations has been published to help companies understand the similarities, detailing the core disclosures and metrics recommended and required by both standards: 🔳 Concepts and definitions: Both require organizations to disclose nature-related impacts, risks, and opportunities, including dependencies. 🔳 Materiality approach: TNFD's recommendations enable disclosures based on double materiality, as required by ESRS. 🔳 LEAP approach: ESRS suggests using TNFD's LEAP assessment approach to identify and assess nature-related issues. 🔳 Reporting pillars: Both are structured around the four disclosure pillars of the FSB Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD). 🔳 Recommended disclosures and metrics: All 14 disclosures recommended by TNFD are reflected in ESRS.
