Well, I am back. After much soul-searching, I realized this was my passion. Being a firefighter is my life. I am trying to cope with the negativity I face in my current position from the top down. I am trying to figure out how to make my department better and more productive. But I know the first step is to keep them from winning from admin to the troops. So, if any of you have faced negativity and unhappiness within your organization and have found a way to improve it, please share. I accept that I have been part of the blame game and negativity. But I can only carry part of the load. So, please, firefighters, company officers, and chiefs, words of wisdom. I understand that sometimes, people are who they are and will not change. But I am asking on how to deal with them and help our department flourish. Thanks for letting me ramble

Progress (in any industry) may feel slow, however it great to look back and be able to say we're somewhat further ahead now then 1971! Interesting to see some of the rail systems in use, including maybe the first rail vertical rail system?

If you're inside a sinking car, try to remain calm and remember these steps: 1. Stay Calm: Panic can impair your judgment. 2. Seatbelt Off: Unbuckle your seatbelt immediately. 3. Windows Down or Open: Roll down the windows or open the doors as quickly as possible. 4. Exit Quickly: Get out of the car through the open window or door. 5. Swim to Safety: Swim to the surface and then to shore, if possible. 6. Signal for Help: Once you're safe, signal for help or call emergency services if needed. Remember, acting swiftly and calmly is key in this situation. If the window doesn't open, try these steps: 1. Use a Tool:** Look for a heavy object or a tool to break the window. A car emergency hammer or a sharp object like a screwdriver can work. 2. Target the Corner: Aim for the corners of the window, as they are weaker points. 3. Protect Yourself: Cover your face and eyes to shield them from glass fragments. 4. Escape: Once the window is broken, exit the car as quickly as possible and swim to safety. Remember to remain calm and act swiftly. #moufidtaleb #safetyfirst #opentonewopportunities #seekingnewjob #ressourceshumaines #recruitment
