I am truly grateful for the overwhelming support and acknowledgment following my statement on the tragic passing of a dear friend. Many people have highlighted the critical need for protection and safeguarding within the creative industries—issues that have long needed attention. While we are making strides to protect future generations, it’s just as important to acknowledge and stand with those who have already suffered. There are far too many individuals who have been victims of negligence, breach of duty of care, and exploitation within the creative sector. These historic victims have often been ignored, overlooked, dismissed, or guarded by NDA’s, and their experiences continue to affect their lives today. These are not just stories from the past, but ongoing struggles for justice that have yet to be addressed. As we push forward to safeguard future generations, it is crucial to also call for investigations into historic cases—especially those that have been dismissed or silenced by the passing of time or the statute of limitations. These victims deserve to have their stories heard and to seek justice, free from barriers that have protected abusers and wrongdoers for too long. Through O.W.H.L we are working to revolutionise safety in the creative industries using innovative technology. While we focus on creating a safer, more transparent future, it’s equally important to ensure that historic wrongs are not forgotten. We are calling on industry leaders, authorities, and the broader community to support investigations into these past abuses and bring justice to those who have been waiting far too long. Together, we can work toward an industry that doesn’t just protect its future but also takes responsibility for its past—ensuring that every creative professional, past, present, and future, is protected and supported.

Many veterans are under the impression that it's too late to file their claim or that they've waited too long, thereby missing out on various opportunities to receive their VA benefits. Veterans can file a claim for disability benefits no matter how long it has been since they were discharged—whether it’s been a year or even forty years. It's common for veterans to file claims years after their discharge. These are known as post-service disability claims and they represent the bulk of the submissions received by the Veterans Affairs office. It's best to file your claim promptly. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) advises that delaying the process can complicate your claim and make it more difficult to access medical records. Filing your VA benefits claim as soon as possible ensures you get the earliest possible effective date, which is critical for maximizing potential back pay owed to you.
