Tired of the same old travel industry conferences? 👋 #TheBizHuddle is different. It's about real talk and actionable strategies for travel entrepreneurs. Think mastermind meets retreat. Learn more and register (Nov 1st) #Community #TravelAdvisor #AgencyOwner
CEO & Founder | Luxury Travel Advisor | Destination Wedding Expert | Business Consultant & Speaker | Travel Industry Disruptor
Just got back from Spain where I explored Madrid and Menorca then spent time with 6 other CEOs, diving deep into mindset and business strategy. But what made it invaluable was the opportunity to swap ideas, gain clarity, and truly connect. This is something I believe every business owner should do at least twice a year. In the travel industry, we attend events like ILTM, Private Luxury, GTM, and ASTA. But those massive shows/conferences, while great, are jam-packed with schedules, quick hellos, and supplier meetings. And let’s be real—how often do we sit through a speaker session only to find ourselves distracted by client emails or industry updates we’ve heard a dozen times before? What if we could do it differently? What if we had a space to focus on the real meat and potatoes—learning how to actually run our businesses, share insights, and sharpen our entrepreneurial skills? This doesn’t take away from host agencies or consortias; they have their place. But The Biz Huddle is all about us—the advisors, agency owners, and entrepreneurs—getting real, relevant guidance from others who get it, even those outside our industry. That’s why I started The Biz Huddle and invited a few colleagues to join me. Belvin Baldwin II Mallory Jones, CTC Norman Williams Theresa Chu-Bermudez, CTA Inderpal Dhadda Janelle Ruhumuliza Maurice Smith, CTIE Katherynne Santos This event is about shaking things up and moving our industry forward, one deep conversation and strategy at a time. Registration goes live November 1st. Hope to see you there! #TheBizHuddle #Entrepreneurship #TravelIndustry #MindsetAndStrategy #Community

I’m too excited to hold it in anymore even though my new branding is not ready, this is what I've been waiting to tell you!! 🌴 For four years I copied what other people did online to build my business. I joined a ready-made business, but the way we market it is our own way, our own personal brand. I was still using the strategies, messaging, funnels, etc., that others taught me. And I'm so grateful for that 🙏. At the same time, it meant I silenced my inner knowing of how I thought things would work better. I had joined a dominantly Australian platform, but not all those ways resonated with a UK audience. I was a leader, but a leader with limits. Fomo and self-doubt made me hold back from going my own way. But this year, the call has become so loud I can no longer ignore it 🌟. To forge my own way. To set up my own movement and culture. To fully step into my own self-leadership. To cut the cords and leave the mothership 🚀. To start a movement on a mission here in the UK 🇬🇧. Now it's time to own what I'm creating and say it loud. And so, with great pride, I announce my new movement within Enagic here in the UK… Freedom Activators® 🌴 We're a team of diverse business owners whose mission is to **LIVE AS THEY DREAM**… Currently, I’m focusing on the high-end property and construction industries. I’ll be looking for partners to help with this niche soon. Each team member chooses their niche, which can evolve with their vision. We sell elite health products Enagic has been creating for 50 years and partner with the most leveraged business model I’ve seen 💧 We're here to lead a water revolution in the UK and beyond, creating not just a more abundant but a more sustainable world 🌍. We're fun, adventurous, and we dream big ✨. Although I started this business online, I love in-person meets and collaboration. The UK market is young and sooo full of potential 🎯. If any of this resonates with you, get in touch now. You deserve to live as you dream, and I see it for you 💫. #freedomactivators #ukbusiness #sustainability #luxuryproperty #entrepreneurship

This weekend, we had the incredible opportunity to participate in the Long Live The Summer event at LUXEXPO THE BOX, Luxembourg for the second time! The response was amazing, the networking even better and every experience brought new learnings by Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce. 🤗🤗 But today, we want to talk about something important: So many people we know have brilliant business ideas, yet they hold back due to fear of failure, uncertainty or even the belief that success only means millions in profit. But here’s the thing — your business is not just about profits, it's a continuous journey of growth and learning. Think of it as your child. You watch it grow, learn from its successes and challenges, nurture it every day and celebrate the small wins as much as the big ones. 💪🏼💪🏼 Starting Go Bandanas hasn’t been about instant success or thousands of followers. It has been about building something from the ground up, continuously learning and improving along the way. And believe it or not, the process is as rewarding as any financial milestone! When clients from last year came and told us, they were trying to find our stall so that they can buy something again, was super rewarding as a small business. 👏👏 So here's our advice, to anyone sitting on an idea, waiting for the "perfect" moment — JUST START! There will always be uncertainties, but you’ll never know the joy and growth that come with the journey unless you take that first step. Every business is a unique story, and success is defined in many ways. ✨✨ #Entrepreneurship #JustStart #SmallBusiness #WomenInBusiness #GoBandanas #BananasOverBandanas

🏅 When sport transcends entrepreneurship: values for building the future On Tuesday evening, at the Générations CCIG event, I had the opportunity to share my vision. At Alpian, we believe that discipline, perseverance, and teamwork—key qualities in high-level sports—are also the foundations of any business striving for excellence. These values lie at the heart of our mission: making high-quality finance accessible to all, inspiring trust and innovation while creating lasting impact for our clients and our community. 🎤 Inspiring moments The panels, as well as the informal discussions that followed, were incredibly enriching. It’s always a pleasure to discover panelists from a fresh perspective and to debate around such engaging topics. Thank you to Christophe Barman, Gregory Feret, Maïko Nicolet, and Jocelyn Roux. ✨ Reflections that resonate The evening was filled with meaningful exchanges and thought-provoking questions that continue to resonate with me. - Emanuele Spalvieri raised a brilliant question about the culture of feedback, which is often missing in organizations. It reminded me how essential it is to listen, learn, and adapt in order to move forward. Managing ego in this context is a universal challenge. - Richard Evrard, on the other hand, highlighted the crucial topic of recovery. Too often overlooked, recovery is indispensable. Being an entrepreneur isn’t just about sprinting from one project to the next; it’s about running marathons—or even trails—where every step matters. 🙏 A big thank you Thank you to CCIG - Chambre de commerce, d'industrie et des services de Genève for your contagious energy and to Pauline ZAHLAOUI and Kirsi Beaumond for flawless organization and inspiring moderation. Thanks also to AIRLOOP® for hosting us in such a unique venue (if you haven’t visited yet with your kids, it’s a must—magical moments guaranteed!). A BIG thank you to my colleagues Jacques Sale & Mattia Scolaro, who always push for nothing but the best. And above all, thank you to everyone who participated (in the picture). A high-level athlete thrives - also - because of their audience, just as an entrepreneur thrives because of their clients. Beyond credibility, everything is built on trust. 👉 What do you think is the key to turning challenges into opportunities, whether in sports or in business? 💬 #Entrepreneurship #Leadership #SharedValues #Perseverance #Innovation #Trust

How a Chance Encounter Led to an Exciting New Partnership! I recently attended a workshop with MEGA in Portugal, staying at a quaint office hotel in the heart of the city. It was during one of my walks through the charming streets that I randomly bumped into Catarina Nunes, the co-founder of Starkdata. In our brief conversation, I learned something unexpected—she actually owned the office hotel I was staying in! As we kept talking, it became clear that our companies, Starkdata and MEGA.AI, had a lot in common. What started as a casual street chat quickly evolved into an exciting business opportunity. Now, we're partnering up, combining our strengths to push boundaries together. It’s funny how life works—sometimes, the most random encounters turn into something big. Meeting Catarina Nunes was pure chance, but now, it's the start of a promising new chapter for both of us. #Networking #BusinessOpportunities #Collaboration #Entrepreneurship #Innovation

🚤 DOES YOUR VISION MAKE YOUR🫵 BOAT GO FASTER? 🌍 If it doesn't, it may be time to change your vision ( more on that in my newsletter out later this week😁). Obviously the boat in this analogy is your business, just in case you were thinking 🤔 This short video is a snippet from my longer conversation, last week, with Abdullahi Sheriff during the launch week for The Healthcare Export Accelerator We were discussing the importance of having a clear, actionable vision for your business—one that not only inspires but drives results. I'm talking here about one of my favourite examples The British Olympic rowing team and their mantra, "Does it make the boat go faster?", I explore how focusing on the right actions can help you achieve your goals. 🔑The key question they asked themselves when preparing for the 2000 Olympics........... Does it make the boat go faster? If the answer was yes, they pursued it relentlessly. If not, it was discarded. I apply this same approach to growing businesses, especially when expanding into new markets. Have you ever heard of this mantra and do you apply to your business? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 🚢🚀Ready to craft a vision that will take your business to new heights internationally, and guide you through the steps that will make your "boat" go faster in global markets. 💜 The Violet Rae. Way 💜 The future of this company is rooted in old-fashioned values, the kind we learned from our Gran (the original Violet Rae): compassion, collaboration, respect, and transparency. She believed that treating people well was the key to a meaningful life, and we’ve carried that belief into the branding and communications consultancy we named after her. This isn’t just about being nicer; it’s about being smarter too. Because when businesses and partnerships embrace these enduring values, they: 🟪 Prioritise People: By putting people and relationships first—whether they are employees, clients, or community members—you build stronger, more loyal relationships that drive real, long-term success for everyone. 🟪 Become Naturally Inclusive: Creating spaces where everyone feels valued and empowered sparks creativity, and people contribute more passionately to a flow of fresh ideas. 🟪 Breed Transparent Communication: This builds a foundation of trust and clarity, allowing for creative problem-solving and a stronger, more cohesive team. We don’t see this as a radical shift; it’s a necessary devolution to return to time-tested values that our Grandmother (and many from her generation) lived by. We champion these ‘old-fashioned’ principles because embracing them isn’t just good ethics; it’s also excellent business. 🟣 Ready to move your brand forward with the best of the past and the promise of the future? Let’s talk. 🟣 Elizabeth Dewar & Alexandra Dewar #AuthenticBusiness #PeopleFirst #InclusiveWorkplaces #FutureOfWork #IntegrityInBusiness #UAEbusiness #UAEentrepreneur #BrandingStrategy #BrandingUAE #DigitalMarketing #MarketingUAE #BusinessGrowth #BusinessDevelopment #SMEbranding #SmallBusinessUAE #StartupDubai #DubaiBusiness #Entrepreneurship #BrandAwareness #UAEstartups #BusinessStrategy #UAEbrands #MadeInUAE #DubaiSME #FamilyBusiness #AbuDhabiBusiness #SharjahBusiness #UAEinnovation #EmiratiBusiness
