We've worked with brands who have the 'console' problem with subscription. It's the situation that we've had for years with gaming consoles and games, printers and ink - how do you price the component or product that houses the consumable or repeatable revenue product? It's a bloody hard question, but here's 2 ways the brands we work with found worked the best. Onsite quiz and starter bundle recommendation - If customers have never used the product before, there's a danger they buy too much and too less. We want to avoid both situations. If you setup a product or program finder using a quiz tool, you can clearly direct the customer to the right 'starter bundle' for them, based on their answers. Plus, you've got some great data to be able to make sure you are hitting the right touchpoints in your email marketing to retain them. Device payback through credit - This has worked well in beauty - customer can purchase the device, and should they sign up and stay for a 6 month subscription, the value of the device is credited back to the account. This depends on margins, but good at keeping customers locked in. #subscriptions #ecommerce

Valve corporation is gearing up for letting any handheld manufacturer use their #SteamOS. As stated in the article, Valve time is a very unpredictable thing, but given the upcoming boom of PC handhelds in 2025, I'd say we will really see ROG Ally, Lenovo Legion Go and other devices offering the option to get SteamOS pre-installed instead of Windows in 2025. This is a very smart business tactic Valve is pulling off here as no matter that SteamOS is compatible with potential use of Epic Games Store, Good old games, Ubisoft Launcher or Itch, only Steam and all it's functions and APIs have deep integration with the OS, so this move will just extend their already giant customer base and we will see growth of game sales on Steam thanks to this long time in the making brilliant move. Examplesof these types of keywords: 1. earbuds 2. laptop 3. school bags ✅️*Long-tail keywords*: these are longer, more specific terms (3-5 words) that have lower search volume and competition; greater specific intention of search, and a higher rate of conversion. Examples of these types of keywords: 1️⃣"wireless noise-reducing earphones," 2️⃣health and fitness tracker," 3️⃣video games laptop with NVIDIA images. Target specific niches and increase conversion rates with long-tail keywords. Keep in mind that long-tail keywords work better for Amazon product listings and advertising because they help match your products with specific customer searches.
