I made a lot of mistakes when it comes to software architecture 🙈 Apps that I co-authored were: - bloated - not flexible - not extensible - unmaintainable in a long run The root cause of it was that I used to spend every single moment of my day on things related to IT (being honest it's still a bit like that, but I am adjusting 😅). Because of this, I wanted to apply all that I learned or heard of to my apps. This in turn caused my applications to become "little" monsters 👻 Microservices? Let's go for it. Cache? Let's add it! Event streaming? Why not! At some point I happily turned back from this path. I started to move towards the evolution of my architecture, thinking about the impact of certain decisions on me, my application and the team.
