You might be winding down for 2024, but Manheim Australia isn't. I am reliably informed by Jonathan Ciantar and Kris Siemon that tomorrow is the BIGGEST wholesale auction we have run since COVID. The best part of 500 cars will be driven through 4 auction lanes tomorrow in Altona, for in-person bidding or via the live online Simulcast. This is open to dealers and the public alike, commencing at 10am sharp. The image below is a representative sample: It's not just about white RAV4s and ex-council Ranger cab chassis'! More facts about tomorrow's truly epic list of consignments include: 💠 Vehicles from 39 brands, everything from Toyota and Mazdas, to Porsches and BMWs. 💠 A selection of 2024 model-year vehicles and 1995-era vehicles, and everything in-between. $500 bunkies to $100,000+ luxury machines. 💠 Utes, SUVs, sedans, hatchbacks, wagons, and high-end sports cars. 💠Ex-fleet, lease and council cars, dealer trade-ins, SME company vehicles, and a few finance repossessions into the mix. 💠Coffee and food on site, cars running and available to inspect. Manheim auction sales are up 35% this year, and we are ending 2024 with a bang not a whimper. Tens of thousands of vehicles sold on behalf of a huge array of vendors this year, across every State in Australia. What a business, what a platform for an even bigger 2025 driven by a revamped and revitalised team of heavy hitters including Shakira Loveridge, Daniel Colina, Heath Stubbs, Justin Richards, Wayne Oats, and auctioneers including Andrew Chapman, Bella Farley, Kane Cahill and more. Hope to see you here, mention the post and I'll even shout you a coffee at the onsite cafe 😃 Full catalogues: https://lnkd.in/ggVSs4nd Stephen Lester Sean Kinsey Mathew McAuley Matthew Hobbs Australasian Fleet Management Association (AfMA) Rohan Martin Fleet Auto News

Ever seen a virtual car auction before? 👨🏾⚖️ Turn the sound ON for this 🔊 One of the most cost effective ways for dealerships to acquire stock is via auction sites. It gives them the chance to acquire them cheap and pass on great savings to customers. 💰 I always look at three things before I decide to bid for a car: 1. Service History 🔧 2. Mechanical Report 🛠️ 3. Condition Report 👨🏾🔧 I’d look at other factors too but I’d say these are the main three to look out for. It’s always exhilarating bidding at auction as not only do I want to win the car for my customer but there is a sense of achievement when you see the SOLD sign at the end having been the highest bidder. 😏 Having won the car, it gets collected from the auction house, inspected and prepped at our prep centre before being delivered straight to the customer’s door. 📦 ————————— I’m Ammar and I’m on a mission to help one billion people find the best way to get a car 🚗 In a world where car buying and leasing is filled with disingenuous, dishonest and deceiving individuals, I provide a straight forward, transparent and hassle free way to acquire your next car 😊 I’ve helped 154 people get into the car of their dreams. If you want some support or advice on buying or leasing a car, book a 15 mins call with me here FOR FREE with the link in my profile 😃

Everyone loves to watch Classic Car Auctions on TV and dreams about what they would buy if they could go bid on the cars. But I am afraid most people have the misconception that every car that goes across the block at these televised Auctions are in pristine condition. That is far from the truth in most cases. Take for example this 1958 Dodge Royal Regal Lancer. It was listed as a "Frame-Up Restoration" in the auction details. So, one would assume that it is a concourse grade example... NOPE, not the case. This car had extensive amounts of Bondo/Body Filler hiding under the paint, Large areas where the paint was chipping off, bubbles forming under the paint in the rear 1/4 panels, the trim was dinged up and dented with pitting and patina throughout, the Windshield WIpers were non-functional, the horn was not working, the headliner was coming down, and the list goes on and on. But the worst thing I found was excessive rust in the floor pans. This can easily cost $1000's to fix properly and tells me if that much is visible, what else is hiding in a car like this. The buyer that hired me to inspect this car for him prior to bidding decided to pass on the car after receiving my report. I did see that it still sold at auction for over $37,000, To who? I have no idea, but I do know that whoever ended up with this had to spend a bunch more money to get this to the condition that it was reported as being in at the time of the sale. Don't ever take the seller's word for it, Get it Inspected. Call Jim with CFL Auto Appraise for a FREE Consult. 407-791-4034 #prepurchaseinspection #usedcarinspection #autoinspection
