Shortcuts, shortcuts and even more shortcuts. Gurus will hand them out like candy. Seems tempting. But is taking candy from a stranger ever a good idea? More doesn't always lead to more, especially when it comes to automation and AI. Tito 🚀 Bohrt - Sales Mad Scientist agrees and sees all this "shortcutting" as a toxic cycle. "It’s the same hype we had when Marketing automation used 'Hi Tito' and the open rate skyrocketed… soon enough EVERYONE is desensitized. People so proud of 'I can send 50,000 emails per day that look personalized!' Give it 4 months, you’ll be buying 300 domains and sending 30,000 emails per day. Your TAM be fried." Harsh but true, Tito! Everyone's always looking for the next shortcut. In the end, it all leads to one thing: new ways to spam. Because if you're blasting thousands of emails to any and everyone breathing, that's spamming. Not selling. "Just like bulimia isn’t the right way to stay skinny, spray and pray isn’t the right way to build pipeline," says Tito. "You do you though. I'll hit the gym and eat healthy. Go ahead and vomit away. LOL. Cheers, Tito!

How to beat an entire SDR team using a lean tech stack. Goal: More qualified meetings How we’ll do it: By sending hyper targeted and relevant emails to our Ideal Prospects - Buy 10 domains from GoDaddy, you can use similar domain names like if your original domain is “corebitsio” you can get “corebitslabcom”, “corebitstechcom” and etc = $130 one time fee - Buy 30 Google Workspaces which will be used to send emails. 3 Workspace under each domain means 30 Workspaces in total = $160 per month - Use Clay to build lists, enrich data, and write hyper personalized copy. A good start would the basic package = $350 per month - We’ll use our own OpenAI key instead of using clay credits, so we can budget properly and not waste our credits. We’ll use GPT-4o to hyper personalize each email at scale. In short we'll be able to write emails in the most non salesy way that gets positive replies = $300 per month - We’ll use ZeroBounce for Email Validation, we won’t use clay credits as we don't need to waste credits, we’ll use our own API key to connect ZeroBounce. = $115 per month - We’ll use Instantly.ai for our entire outbound infrastructure to connect all our email inboxes there, send emails, respond to emails, manage sales pipeline, follow up etc. =$97 per month Total One-time Costs: $130 Total Monthly Costs: $1022 P.S. We can use Findymail and connect it with Clay using API key to save even more credits. = $99 per month Big thanks to 🦾Eric Nowoslawski and Liam Dunne 🕵️♀️ for the inspiration behind this post.

Curious about the science of meaningful conversations.

"The truth is there is no shortcut. You have to put the work in.... You have to make them curious. You have to make someone want to engage with you," says CEO Fabien Tiburce, who himself cold emails/calls. Creating curiosity is a fundamental concept. It's practically ancient. Want someone to engage with you? Ya gotta have something NEW or UNUSUAL to say. "'10 subject lines that work' will waste your time, waste your audience's time and damage your reputation," says Fabien. "My advice is simple: don't do it. Treat your work as a craft and not a factory line. Be an artist not a mass marketer. See what results you will achieve."
