🍀 Are you ready for the St. Patrick's Day Antics? With St. Patrick's Day right around the corner, this Sunday 17th March, now is the perfect time for food and beverage businesses to gear up for one of the most anticipated celebrations of the year; the one day a year when everyone's a little Irish. From overly green decorations to special menus, here's 7 tips on how to make your establishment talk of the town: 1️⃣ Stock Up on 'Essentials': Ensure you have enough inventory, especially Irish staples like beer (think Guinness 🍺), whiskey, and ingredients for traditional Irish dishes. Remember, it's better to have more than not enough! 2️⃣ Special Menu for the Day: Design a themed menu featuring Irish classics such as corned beef and cabbage, shepherd’s pie, and soda bread. You could even consider offering green-themed or Irish-inspired cocktails and mocktails. 3️⃣ Staff Readiness: Make sure your team is ready for the rush. You might wish to consider extra staff or extended hours, and brief everyone on the day’s special promotions. 4️⃣ Decorate in Green: Transform your space with green, white, and orange decorations. This venue is going to blow you away! 💥 The views! The restaurant! Rooftop bar! Infinity pool! The reality - no room to store luggage, inflexible check-in times, fixed meeting room set up, limited vegan menu, no option to buy out the whole space 😟 Is that showstopping venue really going to work for your event? Have you nailed down what's really important and asked all the right questions? 🤔 It's easy to get swept up in the glamour of a venue (just think of the pictures for Insta! 📸), but take off the rose-tinted glasses and look at how the space works for your event, does it give you everything you need? If you haven't asked the right questions it's a fast track to event stress and frustrated guests, trying to mold a venue to your requirements isn't always possible.
