Global Accounts & Payment API’s | CEO & Co-founder @ Routefusion

Just sent my first end-of-the-year “enjoy the holidays” email to one of our partners. After hitting send I immediately started reflecting on everything that Routefusion has accomplished this year... As many people know, we made a hard pivot in 2022/2023 to focus on rebuilding our banking partnerships and infrastructure. We decided to take on more responsibility with compliance, AML, and onboarding. Since we re-launched our GTM efforts this year, we have grown our revenue 4x in a year. Growing 4x in a year is not an easy task, but through relentless execution, our sales and GTM teams performed brilliantly. While the revenue growth is awesome, the thing I’m most proud of is our ability to launch new products, retain new infrastructure partnerships, and stay ahead of where we see the market going. Some of the things we started this year and are going to extend into 2025 include: 1. More redundancy for our non-resident USD accounts. Non-resident USD accounts have been a focus for us since 2021. Giving global businesses access to the greatest economy 🇺🇸 on earth is a cornerstone philosophy for us. We’re thrilled to continue adding more redundancy for our current and future customers. 2. Redundancy for our global non-resident multicurrency accounts. While we strive to give global businesses access to the greatest economy on earth, we don’t let our pride in our country get in the way of realizing that global businesses are, indeed, global. We’ve seen a massive increase in use cases for accounts in EUR, GBP, MXN, AUD, BRL, and more. We want to ensure our customers have everything they need in their arsenal to expand globally through one API. 3. Global RTP with Stablecoin. For as long as I can remember, my co-founders and I have wanted to work with Stablecoins. In fact, in 2019, we completed a payment to Mexico using Stablecoins and local rails. At the time, we decided we didn’t understand the market well enough to fully focus on it, so we put Project Stable on the back burner. This year, we’ve seen some fascinating developments with Stablecoins. Almost every new fintech or platform is adding some form of Stablecoin to their payout options. It seems stables are finally going "mainstream". We anticipated this at the beginning of the year and began working with our RTP partners to start accepting Stablecoin for pre-funding of our global RTP rails. Lo and behold, we’ve quietly launched global RTP in 65 currencies with pre-funding in USDC. That means you can pre-fund 65 global payment rails with Stablecoin. We expect this to be a massive driver of growth in 2025. The year still isn’t over, and Nabeel Siddiqui still has a contract waiting for signature. But as I sent my Merry Christmas and Happy New Year email today, I couldn’t help but feel gratitude for my team at Routefusion and all of our wonderful customers we’ve had the joy of serving. Let’s go, 2025!! Have a great holiday season, everyone!! 🥰🇺🇸🎉
