WARNING TO EVERY AUTOMOTIVE DEALER GROUP in North America. CDK Global news again for all the wrong reasons. Tekion Corp has joined a growing list of competitors, suppliers, and dealers suing and winning lawsuits (settling out of court = win :) against the legacy DMS provider. Why? FEAR, ARROGANCE, UNETHICAL, UNPROFESSIONAL, UNCOMPETITIVE, "SORE LOSER" on the part of CDK Global. Impeding Asbury Automotive Group's transition to Tekion Corp's far superior product was adjudicated in court already. CDK lost. DATA IS THE DEALERS. CDK Global Leadership....tell me I'm wrong. I've been wrong before :) Would love to hear from you. "If Asbury wanted all of its data in the manner it desired, it needed to switch to the status of a customer in Transition Assistance to another DMS, CDK said. This meant forgoing perks such as flat pricing under its current arrangement, it said". NOTE....YOU LOST THAT COURT CASE. ABSURD....."Customer in Transition Assistance?", "Perks?" from a company providing substandard product, unreasonable charges, poor customer service, and more for decades. WE KNOW from direct experience. Tekion Corp CEO/Founder Jay Vijayan - “They’ve been doing this on an ongoing basis, which forced us to stand up to them for anticompetitive practices,” Vijayan said. “Not just for us but for our dealers as well. It is dealers’ data, but [CDK has] been holding it hostage.” Other dealer groups involved with CDK's blockage of data transfer includes Doral Automotive Group, Regal Automotive, Lou Bachrodt Auto Mall, as well as over a dozen California-based dealerships that currently use CDK DMS with plans to go live in 2025. Penske Automotive Group, AutoNation, Lithia & Driveway, Group 1 Automotive, Sonic, Dragoneer Investment Group, General Motors, Hyundai Motor Company (현대자동차), BMW i Ventures, Serra Automotive PLEASE NOTE: We are currently soliciting for OEM, DEALER GROUP, SUPPLIER, SaaS contracts/other projects. CDK Global is in the spotlight again, and not for the right reasons. Tekion Corp has filed an antitrust lawsuit against the legacy DMS giant, joining a growing list of dealers and competitors taking legal action over practices that restrict data access and hinder innovation. 🔑 What’s at stake? • Dealers’ Data: Tekion’s CEO, Jay Vijayan, said it best: “It is dealers’ data, but [CDK has] been holding it hostage.” • Competition: The lawsuit calls out anticompetitive practices that impact the ability of dealerships to adopt modern solutions. This isn’t the first time these issues have come up—dealers and industry leaders are demanding better. Asbury Automotive’s recent court victory over CDK highlighted the same themes: outdated systems, restrictive practices, and a lack of respect for dealership data. The takeaway? The industry is changing, and dealers deserve technology partners that prioritize transparency, innovation, and fair competition. #AutomotiveIndustry #DealersData #Innovation #FairCompetition #IndustryUpdate

An easy way for dealerships to make money beyond just selling cars is through selling vehicle service contracts. It's a win-win situation for both the dealership and the customer. The dealership earns revenue, and the customer gets peace of mind knowing that they won't be hit with unexpected repair bills down the line. Implementing a service contract marketing program can run this revenue stream for your dealership, so you can focus on selling! We can set this up for you and with NO COST to do so!!! #vehicleservicecontracts #dealerships #apcisg #IFS #Innovationfinancialservices Click below if you'd like to schedule a "Next Level Assessment" with a member of the Innovation Team. https://lnkd.in/gb7dUzcn
