If you have a business podcast, the best way to save money on producing your podcast is to have great audio quality going in, which means having and using the right microphone properly. And then, of course, there is the respect for your listeners/potential clients. The respect that comes through when you do not ask them to strain to hear you clearly in the podcast. So true about mic placement being make-or-break. Been recording content for years and it's amazing how a few inches of positioning can have more impact than a thousand-dollar equipment upgrade (even though that's nice if you can afford...)
