It's been interesting to see the shift from traditional media spend to influencer spend. As the sole person who handles all influencer outreach, negotiations, rounds creative concepting, and budgeting, I am extremely close to the topic. Why spend $1,000,000 on a gamble hoping the right audience might see your product in a TV spot when you can identify the exact audience you need to hit and pay 1% of that cost? Influencer marketing also has so many levels. Is it an awareness play? Is this a fully involved piece of entertainment? Are we going for ROI or CPV? It is in no way a simple process, but the results speak for themselves.
