At CCEP we continue to work hard to create #Inclusive, #DisabilityConfident and #Accessible work environments.   We are still on this journey, and as we continue to evolve, we want to share our learnings to help others. This is why I’m so pleased to be publishing our new Global Accessibility Matrix.   The Matrix, developed with AccessAble and our #DisabilityNetwork is a step-by-step guide to accelerating accessibility in the workplace. Which is why we recently launched our new Global Accessibility Matrix, a practical guide to help businesses create environments that are welcoming to everyone, developed with @AccessAble.    We hope that this resource will help inspire positive change across sectors and industries, helping us learn from each other. We’re empowering every employee this Global Accessibility Awareness Day At The NRMA, we're dedicated to building an inclusive workplace where every employee feels valued and supported. In line with this commitment, NRMAble, our Disability and Accessibility employee resource group, hosted a wonderful event with special guest Emmanuele Silanesu from Microsoft in celebration of Global Accessibility Awareness Day. Manny showcased Microsoft's powerful accessibility tools, sparking lively discussions on how we can integrate these features into our daily work. Why does this matter? Because fostering an inclusive workplace goes beyond doing the right thing. It involves making strategic decisions that enrich our community and empower every employee. Accessible design for the employee experience doesn't stop at recruitment and onboarding. Another important area which requires ongoing awareness and adjustment is technology. When was the last time your organisation asked whether its tech infrastructure was optimised to cater to employees with disabilities? This article shares some fantastic insight into how the NSA (National Security Agency) in the US has developed its own policy which goes beyond regulatory minimums, aiming for a truly inclusive, equitable tech experience for its talent. A great example is considering how multifactor authentication, which is a requirement in most workplaces now (including in Australia) can be made more accessible.
