Coastal Dental Care PC Day 🎨🥂✨ PC day is a valuable opportunity for our practice coordinators to come together from across all 19 practices, for a day of interactive learning, team building and professional development. We enjoyed a day of learning about important ADA updates, personal DISC profiling activities, and finished the day with a ‘Paint & Sip’. We love our team!

I am thrilled to announce that Class 13 has successfully mastered the skill of tying a tourniquet, an essential technique for proper Venipuncture. Congratulations, Class 13, on this impressive achievement! Your hard work and dedication are commendable. Keep up the excellent work, and I am excited to witness your continued progress and success. To tie a tourniquet properly, follow these steps: 1. Select an appropriate tourniquet material, such as a latex-free band or strip. 2. Place the tourniquet around the limb, above the site where venipuncture will be performed. 3. Tighten the tourniquet until it is snug but not too tight to cut off circulation. 4. Secure the tourniquet in place, ensuring it stays in position during the procedure. Bunny ears up, not frog legs down🐰🐸 5. Release the tourniquet once the venipuncture is completed to restore normal blood flow. Remember to always follow proper medical guidelines and procedures when using a tourniquet for venipuncture. #GiftedHandsAcademy #PhlebotomyClass #NewCareerOpportunity #HealthcareEducation #HammondIndiana #AlliedHealthSchool #StartYourJourney #UnlockYourPotential #PhlebotomyCertification #HealthcareCareerGoals 🩺 #Howtotieatourniquet
