How do we actually know the accuracy of our test results? Without comparing though?

Dhruv Gupta, at first scan Orange Health impressed; but after third use I’m scared and extremely disappointed. Fast CAN NEVER come at the cost of correct. The core product is missing. So anything you do over it, won’t work. It’ll lead to libel and eventual brand dissonance. Get the core product right first. Fast is only an augmentation of the core product. And never mistake it for anything else. We were using Orange for my FIL’s basic CBC blood tests that are critical to be done before chemotherapy sessions. Yesterday, received a blood report that was the same as the previous week’s (including the date). Trying to pass off last week’s as this week’s report is not a trivial mistake. It’s a damn joke. So fix your core product, first. Else, it’s just another house of cards with good packaging. The quality expectation in the category is FIVE / SIX SIGMA, not ONE SIGMA.

Dhruv : I experienced your services last week. First impression, it was awesome. I complimented the team and gave a 5 star rating and positive review on Google . The next day, I realised that the ECG report that you shared as the one for my mother was of another patient. 1.5 days, repeated automated messages from your teams and no one detected the mistake ! Hope this is not the price of 10x speed, especially when it is about critical life care and diagnostics. I also wonder as to what is the regulation to penalise such poor service delivery. Usually, I do not give negative feedback publicly but since this is about life.threatening situation, therefore, warning my network to avoid using Orange Labe, till proper systems and processes are in place..

My wife and I used Orange Health Labs a couple days ago. Super professional staff, and a seamless experience. As a customer success practitioner, I have to say kudos to you Dhruv Gupta and to the entire team!

Wow!. I would assume the tests wont give reliable results if there is a delay of several hours? There would be sample deterioration?

I've had inaccurate results with orange blood test. I recently had a blood test done with orange labs through my insurance provider Even health which showed normal levels of Vitamin D and B12 despite my symptoms. Four weeks later, a full body checkup with Thyrocare revealed significant deficiencies in both vitamins, consistent with my symptoms. Upon a followup consultation, Even Health doctors found it unlikely that my Vitamin D levels could drop so steeply in such a short time and trusted Thyrocare’s results, leading to the necessary medication. (update: Reports shared with Orange for internal review) I am not an expert, but the discrepancy between the two tests suggests an error with the initial Orange Labs test especially given my prior symptoms. Accuracy is crucial, and I believe something must have went wrong with my first test with Orange. I'm sure this is one-off! I am only trying to bring home the point that speed looses its meaning when accuracy takes a backseat. Orange deserves all the credit for pushing the industry forward and for continued innovation to add more value to its users. Note: This post has been updated. The full body checkup was done by Thyrocare, not Lal Pathlabs, as previously mentioned.

The issue of fake / inaccurate reports happens at large hospitals as well. I recently had a fake report with extremely abnormal values at Apollo Hospitals & their in house Metropolis Healthcare Lab. The doctors also prescribed more tests and a course of action that was inaccurate and meant medication for life. I had to use Orange Health Labs to compare the results for my self and find out that Apollo had the wrong results. (I did the test 3 times to ensure results were accurate). Love the professionalism and punctuality by the Orange Health team.
