Continuing the series on brands that transformed themselves on the back of customer experience, choosing to learn through rigorous processes of listening to them. Today’s CXstory is about Dell- Dell was the world's largest computer maker back in the 1990's. However it went through a severe blow to its reputation in a series of consumer complaints labeled "Dell Hell" - which threatened its image and customer stickiness resulting in an adverse impact on its stock price. Dell then completely re-invented itself on the back of consumer feeback and re-created the entire business & model ( product and services) - by focusing on "made-to-order" computers backed up a cost efficient shipping and inventory model, a robust customer services and VOC process.
