One of my favorite parts of my role is hiring. I learn so much from the candidates I speak with. While interviewing and reviewing resumes can be an absolute time suck, I try to approach interviewing in a way that's beneficial for everyone. I love that when you first post a role, you have an idea of the archetype that you want to fill it. And then you get candidates that completely change your assumptions. It's one of the reasons that I place so much value on people over technology. They'll always surprise you. Are you aware of any openings or opportunities? Greater Atlanta onsite, hybrid or globally remote presales (or post sales roles). Especially in CRM, Marketing, HR, QA and Insurance solutions. I wanted to take a break from my series for a post in direct question for assistance. I’ve come to understand many of you connected to me, may or may not know about the training program I did last year through PreSales Academy which equips train those looking to enter into presales. As I’m aware that presales is “not an entry level job” many people still have successfully made the transition into the space. I have created content showcasing my abilities to be a successful contributor in the space. I wanted to see if anyone is aware of companies that are hiring or opportunities to come. I am a cohort 7 grad from March ‘23. I have been a QA engineer for a couple years. I’m interested in connecting with those who may be aware of possible openings. (No, there are no options for an internal move especially as I am laid off) I’ve been at this search for a year almost and have attempted to follow any lead of advice I’ve been given. Ive shown my commitment to the process, ability to be coached and a positive attitude in the face of adversity. If it truly is a timing thing then I appreciate that. I won’t whine I’ll keep working.
