Started reading You Turn (like U-Turn for your career life) by Ashley Stahl today. It's excellent. I like how she contains everything you need to know in simple steps. I'm defining my core nature later today.

Chase things that matter. Seeing someone change and being able to help positively influence that … yep - that matters. “Life isn’t what it has to be, but what you make of it. There’s nothing like watching a new sales rep step outside their comfort zone for the first time—whether it’s making calls, closing sales, or facing the challenges of no-sales. Even if they don’t get the results they wanted right away, they grow. It’s those moments—the first sale, the first comma check, seeing their name on the sales report—that really matter. But what’s even more powerful is when they start to believe in themselves at a higher level than ever before. That’s why I chose to be a district manager. Of course, there are challenges. One of the hardest parts is when you care about someone’s potential more than they do. It took me a long time to learn 'some will, some won’t, someone’s waiting.' My job is to be the best version of myself, no matter what my team gets out of this opportunity. I’ve learned many lessons as a DM, but the biggest ones are: 'Nothing is ever as good as it looks, and nothing is ever as bad as it feels,' and our motto in South Bend: 'Don’t make things that don’t matter, matter.' Once those lessons became ingrained in who I am and what my organization values, that’s when we really started to impact students." - Aaron Harris, District Manager (South Bend, IN) . Hiring? If you think using an agency is just about the "placements", think again! Passive talent isn’t always actively looking at jobs or doing job searches: Now, consider this: - Top talent is usually already employed - Winning them over requires time and effort - They may not be checking job boards We as Recruiters have access to this talent pool. We know where to look and how to attract them. Sure, you can post a job ad and hope for the best and even receive 100+ applicants, but do you have the time and manpower to sift through hundreds of CV's? 📣 We as Recruiters will: - Pre-screen candidates - Conduct interviews - Verify credentials - Handle negotiations So, before you decide to go at it alone, ask yourself: - Do you have the time to recruit? - Do you know where to find top talent? - Can you sell your company to passive candidates? If the answer is no, it might be time to pay for the expertise. If you’re curious about how we can support your company’s growth by connecting you with the right talent, feel free to reach out. I’d be happy to make a call or even come and visit you (Cape Town Based). [email protected] Business Whatsapp: 0717686246
📣 We pride ourselves in being “old school”, meaning we spend time understanding our client’s needs, and their business and only then profile positions according to our understanding of the role and the job market we are working in. Our primary objective is to work in partnership with our clients and deliver the best possible solution and highest caliber candidate for the available position. 💯 Email: [email protected] Phone: 021 556 29 29
