Well done to you both and welcome to that first step in management.
Congratulations are in order for Sarah and Gemma who have successfully been promoted to Leading Firefighters. Leading Firefighters are part of the management team on a watch, responsible for commanding single appliance incidents and the early stages of larger incidents. Whilst the crews at Soho are very sad to see Sarah and Gemma go, we wish them luck in their new positions at Acton and Shoreditch!

Approximately 75% of law enforcement agencies have 25 or fewer sworn officers, meaning resources are spread thin, leading to barriers to access to training and/or the scheduling it takes to take someone out of service. Worse yet, investments in people don't always translate into investments for the entire agency. How then do we get people to act like leaders where leadership counts - at the point of contact with the community? But what if we told you there was a way to increase your agency's capacity in leadership, resiliency, emotional intelligence, and several other skills and behaviors that lead to higher performance, better community relations, and building a culture of wellness? Here at MAGNUSWorx, we not only show you your strengths and opportunities for change but also provide a platform for your voice to be heard and a playbook for increasing the opportunities for all of your staff. Come see a platform that transforms agencies... You are more than Great, You are MAGNUS! 🚀 ✔ Academically vetted and certified. ✔ Backed by 11M+ hours of instruction with 98% satisfaction. ✔ Used by elite military units and public safety leaders nationally. ✔ Works for everyone! By implementing these strategies and fostering a culture of pride in work and country, Americans have been motivated to contribute to the growth and prosperity of the nation through their work in construction and other industries. National Pride Campaigns - Government-led campaigns, such as the "Buy American" campaign during World War II, encouraged citizens to support the country by purchasing products made domestically. This instilled a sense of pride in American-made goods and boosted industrial production. Infrastructure Projects - Large-scale infrastructure projects like the construction of the transcontinental railroad in the 19th century or the building of the interstate highway system in the 20th century not only created jobs but also instilled a sense of national pride and unity as Americans worked together to achieve these monumental tasks. Public Works Programs - Initiatives like the New Deal programs implemented during the Great Depression, such as the Works Progress Administration (WPA) and the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC), provided employment opportunities for Americans while building critical infrastructure like roads, bridges, and public buildings. Recognition and Incentives - Recognizing and rewarding exceptional workmanship and achievements, such as through awards, honors, or financial incentives, can motivate construction companies to excel in their projects and take pride in their contributions to the country's development. www.lloydcaulker.net

Yes, I did! This course has been so beneficial to me on so many different personal and professional levels. I look forward to continuing to learn more about myself regarding relationship building, strengths and weaknesses in leadership and communication, and overall confidence in the workplace. I would like to thank Tim Hughes for pushing me to grow outside of my comfort zone. If you haven't considered getting better, I highly recommend you start - and do it with Dale Carnegie Training!!!

Could you imagine if we all celebrated job performance like they do in professional sports? They celebrate excessively for doing their job well. Imagine writing a quality proposal and spiking it on your client's desk, doing a funky dance, and pouring coffee on your head. #celebratesuccess #nafe #engineering #forensicengineering #construction
