RUN….RUN….RUN…. Stay as far away from this LA as you physically can until they address the serious failings in the children’s services department of Herefordshire council that go right to the very top!! The ‘professionals’ (I use that word loosely) higher up are selfish, egotistical and manipulative! even after accepting a mountain of failings imposed on a family they continue to make sure everything fits the narrative and agenda they have chosen so that they can continue to hide the severe magnitude of the failings and mess ups that have been and continue to be made. The children are sadly just collateral damage in their mission to hide the truth! They ignore court orders, court approved plans and abuse families that they are meant to support all while turning a blind eye to the abuse children are suffering while in their care! or they make a never ending list of excuses and reasons as to why they missed the abuse that was inflicted on the children while in placement!….There are a few SWs that are genuinely good at their job and are trying to make a difference to the failing and inadequate department within the council but they can only do so much when some of failings are happening because SWs come and go so quickly as they struggle to maintain steady staffing partly because SWs are being over worked, over stretched with extremely high case loads with not enough hours in a day to be able to adequately manage and safe guard all children in their case loads but also because serious failings are happening higher up the career ladder. Then sadly when mistakes are made, failings happen and there is evidence given to support those claims those higher up have no choice but to acknowledge and accept those claims BUT they then very quickly put the blame on the SWs that are on the ‘ground’ trying their best to do the job and working with the families which means they then are the ones that have to face the backlash from the families, those close to the families and the general public are lead to believe that the SWs are the ones to blame for the issues so they become the focus and targets of the frustration, pain and anger……but just like most things you have those that want to help and make the service better you have th other side of workers that don’t have the right intentions. For example one of the SWs in the children with disability team who is actively going behind parents backs encouraging family members to take restraining orders out on the parents even though they have had no contact with them in over 2.5years! Last time I checked if you’re having very minimal to no contact it’s not harassment? Or maybe I have it wrong which means the police officer I spoke to has it wrong as well.
Start the summer with a new career - We're hiring! For opportunities in social care visit: https://orlo.uk/LTtVj For other positions across Herefordshire Council, find out more & apply here: https://orlo.uk/A2Tuy

One incredible year working for Bayswater ! It all started one year ago when I was searching for my ideal new role and opportunity. I applied and I gave a chance to myself to try something different, an industry that I never worked for or had any previous experience. I had no clue although I was curious about it. We had our first and second interview and then everything changed. I was enthousiastic about it and I was waiting the final response. I got the response, I got the offer and here we are. After one year I feel confident, valued and blessed for what this year gave to me. What changed in one year? - Keep an open mind and an open door, a value of Bayswater which is now adjusted in my professional life. Challenges, busy periods, trainings, opening and closing positions and new tasks to do. - I met people from 5 different countries, the countries that we have offices and learning centres: #UK, #Cyprus, #SouthAfrica , #Canada and #France. I worked with talented people from different cultures and mindsets. I learned a lot from them and I am still learning! - I have the flexibility to work from home and being productive in my own way, that's a blessing indeed! - I am working in a #peopleoriented company and it's something that I felt from the very first day of my employment. I was so anxious, you can't even imagine. Sometimes I am still getting anxious although I feel supported and that's what #healthyworkingenvironment stands for! Build your life | Script your life, this is what we believe in Bayswater and this is what I personally believe too. Take the chance, give yourself a chance to grow, challenge yourself and set your new goals. Choose wisely and believe! Would you like to join me and feel this experience? Check our career page and apply now! https://lnkd.in/drnyW8ny Looking forward to meet more incredible people and looking forward to new challenges! #bayswater #bayswatereducation #peoplesteam #talentacquisitionspecialist #recruitment #openpositions #newopportunities #happyanniversary

At some point I started getting emails with happenings around Morris County, NJ and it included a link with jobs. If you live or would work in Morris County, I think it’s worth checking out. From pharmacists to project managers, jobs of all types, levels, and company sizes are here. There were 618 opportunities on the latest list and it’s refreshed at least weekly. I know I appreciate having a curated list to review quickly and without a billion eyeballs 👀 on it (like LI). Maybe you’ll find positions of interest for yourself or others you know who are looking, or it helps inform your target 🎯 company list. https://lnkd.in/eBMkkC2x

🌟 As a recruiter, I get asked "what do you love most about working at Arc'teryx Equipment" a lot. It's an excellent question and although it can be extremely easy for me to give a very generic reason, I really wanted to reflect on my time here so far and provide my personal genuine response. 🏔️Passion for the Outdoors: Our love for the great outdoors isn't just a hobby; it's at the core of who we are. I'm surrounded by individuals who care deeply about making top quality products for the outdoors but also get to witness the amount of effort in taking care of the environment we love so much. This is so infectious and I have found myself appreciating and being in nature a lot more! 💕 Welcoming Environment: As a woman of colour, I've had to navigate through challenging conversations and experiences throughout my career. From my own experience here, I've felt celebrated for my individual differences and quirks. I feel SAFE enough to show up as my genuine self which makes going to work every day so much more fun. 🌱 Growth: This can mean many things but to me, it's the fact that my manager allows me room to grow (challenges me as well as encourages me to make mistakes and learn from them); it's also the freedom to walk up to any leader in any department for a casual chat to learn more about what they do; and lastly, it's the career progression and knowing that where I take my career is in my own hands but I have 100% support from my team. These may not sound like some wild reasons but these little blocks are the foundation of why I personally love working here. What have been some of your reasons for loving the companies you've worked for? Comment below - I'd love to hear it! #workculture #careergrowth #dreamjob
