Is there any such thing as too many questions? From the start, I've been curious about how things work. As a child, I delved into understanding car mechanics, leading me to learn driving at a young age. Curiosity can drive you to master something, pushing boundaries until it's yours. This trait also fuels my desire to challenge the norm. I question processes, seeking better ways to achieve tasks and improve efficiency. Curiosity can also be just you questioning the Swiggy delivery person, how many deliveries he does a day, what he makes in a month or estimating the revenue of that Samosa guy who makes you wait for 15 minutes every Sunday. Maintain that childlike inquisitivity to learn and grow every day :) P.S: It is not advisable to have Samosas every week :P #inquisitivity #curiousmind #linkedinleaders

Last week we had a REALLY cool event here at the Delivery Hero office: The "Logistics Bazaar" where each product team in Logistics had the chance to showcase their portfolio of products in engaging and innovative ways. Us from the "Optimization Tribe" decided to aim higher for this edition and create something really special: a board game! Affectionately nicknamed "The Optimization Game". One of the biggest challenges of working with complex products such as the Routing Algorithm is finding the right level of abstraction to make these products understandable to everyone, regardless of their technical background. Our goal with the "The Optimization Game" was to demystify our work and illustrate the core functions and impact of our products in a fun and accessible way. It was a rewarding experience to see our colleagues engaging with and understanding how the Algorithm (together with the rest of our suite of services) actually works! A big THANK YOU for each one of the other Optimization Tribe members that found on their busy agenda some time to help me during the process of designing and testing the boardgame rules and mechanics (Andrew Shchyolok, Mohammad Abouei Mehrizi, Fabian B., Ece C., Elena Beilina, Abhishek Rawat, Kate Kolbina and many many others...)
