Reminder: Business relationships can be fun! Ask yourself these questions: What common interests do you have? What community event can you invite someone and/or their family to? Even when it comes down to celebrating the 4th of July, having a Super Bowl party, or even an event for your kids, think of which business connections come to mind for inviting. If you think they’re a good fit, invite them. This can open up whole new levels in the relationship. #buildingrelationships #conversations #communication

𝐖𝐇𝐀𝐓 𝐀𝐑𝐄 𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐃𝐎𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐓𝐎 𝐋𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐋 𝐔𝐏❓If you’re just occupying space in your community you’re doing Community wrong. As a Broward County community member and founder of The Official Glue, I have decided to enhance our business involvement by joining the Broward Schools Business Excellence program hosted by Broward County Public Schools. This program aims to provide valuable insights to elevate small businesses and help them increase their visibility within the community. The session offered opportunities to network with other local businesses and learn from highly regarded community experts like Dr. Reggie R. Lewis, Maribel Feliciano, AICP, Diana Agenor, and Samuel Chesser. 𝐇𝐎𝐖 𝐕𝐈𝐒𝐈𝐁𝐋𝐄 𝐈𝐒 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐁𝐔𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐄𝐒𝐒 𝐈𝐍 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐌𝐔𝐍𝐈𝐓𝐘❓ Creating a combination of online visibility and community engagement is how you create valuable leverage for your growing business. Here are a few points to keep in mind when leveling up your community engagement: 👉🏾𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗦𝗜𝗗𝗘𝗥 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗕𝗘𝗡𝗜𝗙𝗜𝗧𝗦 Be mindful of how your participants will positively impact your business. 👉🏾𝗖𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗧𝗘 𝗔 𝗪𝗜𝗦𝗛 𝗟𝗜𝗦𝗧 Outline the community partnerships you would like to develop and seek aligned conversations. 👉🏾𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗧𝗥𝗜𝗕𝗨𝗧𝗘 Be prepared to ask questions and make vocal contributions. It was wonderful to meet everyone virtually at my first Business Partner Council meeting for Community Associations Institute National & here are my takeaways: - Stop with snail mail! - Reputations are reinforced at industry events & meetings. - Reinforce your relationship with clients by dropping off goodies at their office. Rob's Tip: Play nice in the "sandbox" - There's enough business for everyone in the Greater Chicago Area & I'm happy to help other business partners. #wearecai #AssociationImprovements #propertymanagement #propertymaintenance #lovewhatwedo #lovewhatyoudo #Networking #ethicalbusiness #ethicalbusinesspractices #networking

This past Tuesday, we had the pleasure of hosting Cara Truitt, who delivered an impactful talk on "Stop. Listen. Collaborate." 🙌 Her insights on building intentional collaboration really hit home with our community. 100% of attendees said it was VALUABLE. See what our members had to say... "A good use of time for sure. I had lots of fun. I love the format and would like to do again" "Best way to connect I've experienced at a networking group" "A session where you learn how to be present when going to networking events and also connecting with other business owners to learn their passions and business needs." Our next professional event is Tuesday, September 17th at Monday Night Brewing from 12-1:30 PM. #charlottenetworking #networking #community Briana Blair

Real connections don’t need calling cards. Because when you can remember a person by what they said or how you felt above your conversation, you will know you have encountered a real connection, not just a transactional one. In our community events, we dive into conversations, share experiences, and truly get to know each other. It’s about creating lasting relationships where value is shared organically. You're more than an email address or another lead. The essence of our gatherings is authenticity. When you attend a Rainbow Warriors or Mastermind session, you’re not there to collect contacts; you’re there to build meaningful connections. Instead of calling cards, we exchange personal stories instead. I've had attendees remember each other by one funny joke or a relatable incident they shared. The communities I build are places where stories are told, lessons are learned, and communities are strengthened. Here we are in a recent event I hosted for Mastermind last July 17, cheering for each other's private successes, however big or small. What are you thoughts on community-building? Let's connect! #community #communitybuilding
