I like to blow shit up. I am the Michael Bay of business.

Hear hear Jacki Zehner! Jacki left this comment on my post about how we need female billionaires to stop thinking philanthropy is the only way to change the world, and to start funding female founders with big visionary social-impact startups that change the world by doing good and making money simultaneously - because we have too many male billionaires funding male founders with ventures that do bad and make money simultaneously (post is here: https://lnkd.in/e73VrBZ8)

Given the massive cuts to global funding for sexual and reproductive health and the devastating effects of the anticipated global gag rule that Trump will resinate, I don't think advising women to move their money away from philanthropy is the best thing for women. Fund reproductive justice, fund grassroots orgs and open tech for SRHR or we will live in a world were we are again controlled by the ovaries. https://abortionsupport.co.za/donate-to-abortion-support/#:~:text=Your%20donation%20makes%20this%20work,continue%20providing%20abortion%20pill%20prescriptions.

We can fund the world we want to live in. I’m here for all the encouragement for women of means to get off the sidelines and invest in emerging companies. So many opportunities to learn how to do it and to meet interesting people in the process. #femalefunder Startup Investors Lab Women Funding Women Inc. (WFW) Women's Equity Lab

YES !! Just speaking to a HNWI woman this past week and she could very easily write a check to a much needed femtech product we are raising capital for but it didn't exactly meet her investment thesis!! There is no ROI considered on philanthropy when you don't know for the most part where how and when the $$ are going to be spent but there is such an acute acute focus on ROI expectations on female founded companies that are scraping to solve the many many myriad issues of women health that are so severely underfunded!! And the crazy thing is if given a chance they will and can and are absolutely poised to change the world!

THIS IS KEY! Female billionaires funding female founders. An important way to pay it forward and leave a positive legacy. ✨🌈✨

From personal experiences raising capital, in some instances, and not all, because we do have amazing female investors on our cap table, this commentary is very relatable as a Founder. Well said, Jacki Zehner Cindy Gallop Samantha Katz.

Jacki Zehner explains it perfectly. Capital flows and has ripple effects throughout society--public discourse and policy being some of the most important.

Absolutely! I have been speaking with people about exactly this!!
