Which inner state do we aim to reach in people, especially in times like these, which are unstable, uncertain? People feel that something is not right in this world and we try to find an answer for that. And what is more beautiful than giving your time with full attention to your loved ones, to your family at home, by truly being yourself? And what place is better for this than the kitchen? So you know my grandfather to describe him with a gesture he wanted always. Why shall we produce a kitchen like this? Why not like that? Always aiming for absolute, reproducible quality, and that still drives us today. Being genuine is stronger than honesty. Being genuine has a lot to do with your true self, with your real self. There��s this beautiful quote. Modernity is not only about the clarity of lines, but more important, the clarity of thought. When you try to describe bulthaup in an image, I really think of a tree. A tree. Planted in the right place at the right time. It has a magnificent strong crown. Over the decades, it has been nurtured, cared for, it grew stronger. And this tree provides people shelter. It is sovereign and modest, but it stands in the landscape with absolute consistency. And this is how I see bulthaup. It's about these things that people, as they go through life in this hustle, in this increasingly fast-paced time, often overlooked now. It's about this little flower. By the roadside. It's about. The perfect joinery, like how we make our solid wood drawers. These are the little things. We always say 1 + 1 is 3. And the variable, the + x which makes this equation work is our herzblut. I'm deeply convinced that people can feel this love, this attention to detail, this passion which flows into our products. When they interact with the kitchen, with our drawers, with our cutting boards, with our product, it means that they take our products in their hands. That's why we say he who creates understands. A kitchen is a living space. But living space has nothing to do with architecture. A beautiful kitchen with perfect horizontal over vertical joins is not enough. What makes a space, a place Is the human being. He fills the space with his personality, with his soul. The essence of bulthaup is this place. The quest for this place. You can only achieve it if you design products that come from a clear conviction from humanity. They are such a beautiful term. It is called in German Enkel-F��higkeit. It has to do with the idea that beliefs, convictions but also values are carried on across generations. You do something out of an inner drive. selflessly, something which is more important to you. It has to do with eternal substance. Bulthaup is not about kitchen. Bulthaup is about an attitude, an attitude for and towards life. You feel life, the passion, the craftsmanship. And deep inside, Burn for something. You go the extra mile. You're only satisfied when you have given all of yourself for the smallest detail. I can say this is the soul of bulthaup.
