As we sit here in the middle of Q4, it’s time for some honest reflection. Back in Q1, we set ambitious goals for the year. Now, the big question: did we hit those targets? Or did we lose momentum along the way? Often, it’s not the goals that fall short but the lack of an Organizational Operating System to keep us on track. So, I’m asking you – did you accomplish the goals you set for yourself in Q1? If not, let’s figure out why and get ready to start strong in the new year. Drop a comment and let’s talk about how we can finish the year with intention! 💪 #GoalSetting #OrganizationalOperatingSystem #Reflection #Q4Mindset

Happy Monday as my friend Sandhya Gupta used to say every Monday at noon at Rotary! Here is a quote to start your week. We are wrapping up Q2. How are you doing with your plan? Are you hitting your metrics? Time to regroup or keep moving forward with your plan? If you haven't done a review, the 4th of July holiday is always a good time to do that, even a few days into Q3. I'll probably share my Mindmap process around that time. If you want to know about our 3-step growth plan process, let me know. #Q2 #Q3 #OnPlan #Status #Review #BeckyAmble #FutureFocus Future Focus

I shall start this work week with saving some useful knowledge for my use… and any of you with the same job responsibilities. 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐦 𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 1. 𝓕𝓻𝓪𝓶𝓲𝓷𝓰 Framing the problem in the way that captures the real essence of the problem and is understood by those seeking a solution. As a question, not as a statement. 2. 𝓓𝓲𝓿𝓮𝓻𝓰𝓮𝓷𝓬𝓮 Fun and creative stage with lots of questions that keep the door open to learning. It’s about allowing teammates the freedom to think around a subject and make free creative associations with the problem while keeping them on track and ensuring that they still have the original problem in mind. 3. 𝓔𝓶𝓮𝓻𝓰𝓮𝓷𝓬𝓮 Answers start to emerge and shed light on the problem. 4. 𝓒𝓸𝓷𝓿𝓮𝓻𝓰𝓮𝓷𝓬𝓮 Coming together in agreement about the best solutions, categorizing key ideas and generating recommendations for action. 5. 𝓣𝓮𝓼𝓽𝓲𝓷𝓰 Checking if the solution works in a small area before applying it more broadly. 6. 𝓘𝓶𝓹𝓵𝓮𝓶𝓮𝓷𝓽𝓪𝓽𝓲𝓸𝓷 Putting the working solution into practice. We had a fantastically productive day yesterday. Practicing what we preach, we created a two year plan and agreed the milestones that enable us to celebrate success. Why? Because Without a clear objective, we have no definition of winning. Without a laser focused strategy, we have no chance of winning. And if we're on the hamster wheel and just doing stuff, and every day is wash, rinse, repeat, we don't deserve to win. #businessplanning #businessstrategy #settinggoals

John Cutler and Afonso Malo Franco chat about a lot of topics but the central theme, I would summarize, is teams, their relationships, internal behaviors and how they survive / thrive. #management #productmanagement #prioritization #strategy #decisionmaking https://lnkd.in/dTgNe5ma
