Marketing & sales are 2 faces to one coin. There is NO sales without marketing, and there is NO marketing if we won't sell. In most cases, marketing is the first step to the selling process. (Social media content, website copies, sales copies, paid ads, banners on the street, ...etc) all of these things are forms of marketing. In fact, even cold emailing is considered a form of marketing, as it basically increases awareness & builds up to the sale. That's exactly the reason why a lot of big corporations have it called "Marketing & sales department". Both working together & consistently exchanging information & statistics. Marketing paints a picture on the audience mind that shows them the benefits of the product or the service that we want to sell. So -in most cases-, they won't come close to the selling process if they don't know these benefits in the first place. Even when you look at what this post is actually, it's a form of marketing that paints a picture to people of how important sales is. It opens conversation, builds engagement, and grows awareness about sales.
