The Affinity Suite is currently 50% off. Anyone who does some photo editing and vector image work and wants an alternative to paying for Adobe subscriptions forever, the whole suite is $83 for a perpetual license. There are some questions about what will happen long-term now that they've been bought by Canva, but this is still an excellent deal. I've been using Affinity Designer and Photo for several years now, and I find that they do everything I need them to do for my work. Especially for freelancers and consultants who need to pay for their own software or for organizations with limited budgets, using Affinity instead of Adobe often makes more sense. I'm sure Adobe's screw-up with their TOS is why Affinity is running a sale right now. https://lnkd.in/ebA4Jmwu
I wish Adobe would give away or make Acrobat a much cheaper monthly fee or a one-time fee. PDFx is a good alternative and is more user-friendly for a one-time ~$50 fee. I love to see more competition keeping Adobe in check on their pricing. Now we just need affinity to compete with Articulate. :)
I tried it, becausr I'm very keen to get away from Adobe, but struggled with anything beyond what I can already do on Windows Photo editor? I will try it again!
Christy Tucker in your opinion is it more user friendly to get started with than the Adobe products?
I'll second this! I use Affinity instead of Adobe not only because of the price but in my opinion is is more user friendly too!
LOL, it seems like every time I open linkedin (which isn't much) your posts are completely relevant to what I'm doing right now. Been waiting for this sale since February! Thanks!
Thank you! I've been using Affinity Designer for several years, and I think it is really good, especially for the price, and it is more user friendly.
Thanks Christy Tucker for sharing this.

6moFYI: Adobe offers "Elements" versions of PhotoShop and Premiere for a one-time-fee. I've been using these for quite a while. (My latest "upgrade" was to the 2019 edition.) https://www.adobe.com/products/elements-family.html
