** Dorsch v HEAD Oceania - Annual Leave Case ** There is lots of talk at the moment about this Federal Court Case and its possible impact of termination pays in regards to Annual leave. But I think one of the bigger issues for employers is the accurate tracking of employee's time and leave requests. In the evidence the employer has tried to use the observations of another employee to prove "unapproved absence days" had been taken to offset the annual leave entitlement but no steps were taken to verify the record.
