What an incredible opportunity for Dr. Charlotte Gurule CPCC and I to support the team members in the Aviation Technology Center at Pima Community College This session they learned the foundational skills of Emotional Intelligence and conscious communication skills. We barely scratched the surface and these team members truly enjoyed learning more about each other, and these very effective skills to optimize their team! We are looking forward to our next session in January to take a deeper dive into the transformation possibilities! #TeamOptimization #TeamCollaboration #learningcohorts #EmotionalIntelligence #ConsciousTeamConnection #TrustBuilding

Have you ever wondered how we can influence the development of global technology? Today, I talked with Klaudia Kurpiewska, a Software Systems Engineer at Boeing, an aviation industry specialist. We discussed topics such as fulfilling dreams, intense work, and the impact of the aviation industry on global technological development. People with such dedication as Klaudia have one of the most crucial influences on the future of our world. "I have always been inspired by scientists and engineers from the aviation and aerospace industry," I heard during our conversation. And it's thanks to dreams and set goals that we build not only our careers but also our identity. #infinitypowerinternational #selfdevelopment #coaching #fyp #personalgrowth #Communication #Business

Today, I had the privilege of attending the SPECS event at the College Lane Campus, University of Hertfordshire, where I was fully immersed in an engaging airplane simulation. This immersive experience allowed me to explore the technical aspects of aviation, from managing flight paths to understanding the systems behind every phase of a flight. The simulation gave me the opportunity to engage with real-world aviation technology, enabling me to appreciate the complexities of aircraft operations and how critical precision and decision-making are in ensuring safety and efficiency. One of the highlights of the event was the mentorship I received. Guided by an expert mentor, I gained not only technical insights but also a deeper understanding of how to approach high-stakes situations with a calm, clear mindset. My mentor’s passion and experience were evident in the way they explained concepts and helped me troubleshoot challenges during the simulation. Their guidance was not only practical but also inspiring, encouraging me to think critically and strategically when faced with complex problems. This experience emphasized the power of hands-on learning and the value of mentorship. It reinforced the idea that true mastery comes from both practical application and guidance from those with experience. The event was a reminder that when we combine cutting-edge technology with mentorship and critical thinking, we can tackle even the most complex challenges with confidence. I walked away from the session with a stronger understanding of aviation, a deeper appreciation for the technology behind it, and a renewed drive to continue learning and exploring this fascinating field. This event also sparked new ideas about how I can apply the principles of problem-solving, innovation, and collaboration in my own work. Whether in aviation or other fields, the lessons learned today will undoubtedly influence how I approach future challenges and opportunities. #SPECS2024 #AviationSimulation #HandsOnLearning #MentorshipInAction #InnovationInAviation #FlightTech #STEMInspiration #CriticalThinking #PersonalGrowth #LearningByDoing #AviationTechnology #ProblemSolving #CareerDevelopment

What the heck is "𝙚𝙢𝙤𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙞𝙜𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚," and why is it important in your role as a pilot? I personally 𝗛𝗔𝗗 𝗡𝗢 𝗜𝗗𝗘𝗔 what EI was for much of my career or why it was such an important skill to develop. While I excelled at the technical aspect of flying, 𝙄 𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙪𝙜𝙜𝙡𝙚𝙙 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙛𝙡𝙞𝙘𝙩𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙗𝙪𝙞𝙡𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙪𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙘 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙧𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙧𝙚𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥𝙨. Our Summit media partner, Vertical Magazine, have captured some of the standout moments from last week, including Vice President, Safety, Compliance and Flight Standards, Jon Hopkinson’s thought-provoking opening remarks and highlights from our 23 workshops. The article also features reflections from our CEO, Thomas Burke, on why the Summit continues to be a powerful platform for cross-generational learning and building safety momentum. Tom said, “We have tried to incorporate a range of workshops from highly technical topics like the physics behind unintentional yaw to human factors and human behaviour topics that engage the newer generation as well as seasoned professionals since we have everyone here from students to CEOs. “I feel we achieved what we aimed to do – help increase safety in our industry. I hope people feel armed to take what they’ve learned home and integrate it into their operations.” Click here to read the full article - https://lnkd.in/g9MZZE2K. FAIL - INVESTIGATE - LEARN - TRAIN - IMPROVE If you're interested in learning about how systems, processes, and procedures operate, sometimes fail and how to improve them, take a look at the amazing work done by Petter Hörnfeldt and his team at the "Mentour Pilot" channel on YouTube. Petter's videos focus on aviation failures and investigations, but also contain many important insights and lessons that can be applied to any industry. Many of the videos detail tragic events, which only serves to further highlight the importance of swift investigation and implementation of lessons learned. Subscribe to the channel: https://lnkd.in/eZaFzkCp Every industry has the opportunity to learn from failures and develop better processes and procedures. Having watched many of Petter's videos over the last few months, some simple but powerful lessons keep coming through again and again. FAIL: Acknowledging failure is essential. It’s not about assigning blame but recognising that failures happen. By embracing them, we create opportunities for growth. INVESTIGATE: Digging into the root causes of failures is crucial. Whether it’s a technical glitch, a process breakdown, or a human error, understanding why it occurred helps prevent recurrence. LEARN: Extracting lessons from failures is where true progress lies. These lessons inform future decisions, ensuring that mistakes don’t repeat and that knowledge accumulates. TRAIN: Equipping individuals with the right skills and knowledge is vital. Training ensures that everyone involved understands their roles, responsibilities, and best practices. IMPROVE: Continuous improvement is the ultimate goal. By applying lessons learned, refining processes, and adapting, we create resilient systems that evolve over time. #learn #innovation #kaizen #continuousimprovement #success #safety #technology
