When you get around the right people you can achieve anything. Closing out the week grateful for these amazing humans… This was taken after my gig this week with two heavyweight technology companies: Red Hat and Ingram Micro. They were in town sharing a phenomenal opportunity for business growth with their Top Partners in Melbourne. As an ex-Technologist turned Professional Speaker my background (and foreground 😝) came in handy to add an extra layer to the conversation to help Partners really understand the opportunity at hand. The whole thing was definitely a team effort and it started well before the event itself with me deep diving into their world so I could configure my presentation to impact and influence the room. Thank you to this incredible bunch of humans for being so kind to me and helping me achieve the outcomes I was instructed to achieve. That means to think strategically but then show hands-on how. 📈 What’s your approach to building and maintaining high-performance teams? - Give people the chance to produce by giving them the freedom to do "their" thing. Make sure to follow up all the time without steering too much, and show that you care about the people that you work with. 👨🏼🚀 What’s one hobby you have outside of work that helps you with your professional life? - I read a lot of history books which helps me to reflect around how small adjustments to decisions/processes can change the outcome a lot. In business sometimes we believe that you have to do big adjustments to changes the outcome, history shows differently. Cooking makes me think about how using a new ingredients can change the taste in a dish. Add one person to a team and you can get a totally new and different spirit and production. 🦕 If you could go back in time and meet any historical business figure, who would it be and why? - I think I would like to meet Jan Stenbeck and Louis De Geer, because both of them totally changed the country of Sweden through innovation and saw in the future what others did not believe was possible. Jan Stenbeck always said that "maybe it is exactly the opposite of what everybody thinks” a great way of thinking!

Through prompt and visionary responses to these obstacles, our team didn’t just meet expectations—we exceeded them, making September the best month of this financial year for our company! We onboarded 2.3 times more clients than any other month, and I couldn't be more grateful to my amazing team for their support and dedication. I’ve also focused on building a healthy pipeline for the coming months. 100 days until New Year's Day. New year is always bittersweet when you lead a sales team... You celebrate a fresh start, then realise you've got to bang in 10% more than last year. You will never be more in control of what happens in January than now. Holy Moly 😳 - What a Q2 Finish! 🎉 Q2 Performance = 157% to plan + 217% YoY Growth 🚀 H1 Performance = 136% to plan + 69% YoY Growth 💪🏾   How? The Team! Not just the AEs but the Whole Team! Stand Out Individual Performances: Steve Scheffler  - As our team lead on and off the dashboard, he knocked out over 50% of his annual quota in Q2 alone while being an incredible leader, incredible collaborator and an incredible human! MONSTER back half set up as he looks to be a 3 time consecutive back to back to back Club winner this year! Kecia Mays  - Took down 45% of her annual quota in Q2 by staying focused on skill development (1% improvements everyday) and mindset to navigate some of the most difficult situations and complex deals out there. Congratulations! Jarrod Baden  - Just 6 months into this job and boy oh boy what a 6 months it has been. Jarrod closed out 81% of his annual quota in the first half with a relentless focus on "failing fast" and developing deep customer relationships. Hawaii is in his sights folks! Joel Garcia  - "Mr Consistent" AKA "Mr. Value Creation" just finds a way to deliver month after month, quarter after quarter. Joel crushed 80% of his annual quota in the first half of the year. He has also mentored nearly person on the team and is responsible for helping drive execution at scale and upleveling everyone around him. Club or bust is the motto this year for him. 🙏🏾 To the baddest crew of Women in the business: Cora Miller Kari Bridgeland Michelle Hamilton Laura Landau touched and impacted nearly EVERY deal done in the territory in H1 and there is no Team B'Mo Than You Can Be' without the support, attention to detail, focus on improvement, and hustle that these Women bring to the business everyday! Deep Gratitude to you ALL 🙏🏾 As a leader, playing with a lead is great but the main focus has to be maintaining and more importantly accelerating momentum in H2 Spending the next week to deep dive into the business to identify the 2-3 areas where making the small tweaks will yield the biggest results We are not here to Survive in FY25 We are here to Thrive in FY25!
