We're so pleased with the variety of discussions we’ve been a part of at #PatientsEU2024. #PatientCentric insights brought back to HQ that impressed our team of Angela Sarmiento Betancourt and Elena Kochova were: - We need to involve patients in the trial design from the get-go. Patients have great ideas and are willing to provide feedback. Patients should be partners! - We have the potential to greatly improve the trial experience for patients and sites by simplifying processes. By reducing the use of devices and platforms, minimizing procedures, and creating concise informed consents, we can ensure a more efficient and streamlined journey for all involved. This shift enables sites to dedicate more time to patient care, resulting in a more positive and effective trial environment. - The one size does not fit all theme is clearer than ever. Patients come with different backgrounds, experiences, and needs, as well as a unique disease trajectory. By prioritizing inclusivity and adaptability, we enrich both the trial experience and the quality of our research outcomes." At our booth, we were able to answer questions about our ‘Green Wave’ approach to boosting patient access to and participation in #clinicaltrials. Our team demonstrated our multi-stakeholder platform and how we've been breaking clinical trial barriers across the whole funnel by building the latest in healthcare technology and innovation, our one-on-one patient navigator service, and our medical community team support for physicians. Traditional approaches to improving clinical outcomes often rely on retrospective analysis of patient data in data warehouses or EHR platforms. Simply put, this reactive method is insufficient to improve patient outcomes. Our systems at Palantir Technologies solve the question of how to be proactive: organizing and surfacing critical information to providers and administrators alike to solve problems and plan care pathways before and as they occur. And increasingly, as this demo shows, we have been thinking of how we can both redefine the primitives and processes as well as leverage the negative space– or missing pieces– of the healthcare puzzle for everything from missing lab tests to surgical case management.
