This week, we did Staying Sharps (think performance reviews but less corporate) and I found myself giving everyone one specific piece of feedback... Fail Forward is one of our most interesting principles at RevPartners, it's all about 💥 Moving fast, breaking things AND ⚡️ Sharing our failures We move fast alright. Only, I realized most of my team is not really sharing their failures. If we don't share, then someone else is bound to repeat a mistake. Or worse, not know how to fix an inevitable problem. So here I am, sharing some of my most recent failures publicly in the hopes to inspire them (and maybe you, reading this 💚) 3️⃣ Massive Deal Hiccup: busy bee (me) over here once moved all the deals in our pipelines (yes, plural) to a single pipeline/stage. 2️⃣ Master P&L Eraser: this one time, I was copying our P&L Excel for formulas and ended up deleting a whole tab...the tab that had our entire capacity planning 🙈 1️⃣ ICP Duffus: literally happening right now. While calculating our ICP, I left out a big chunk of customers we need to analyze.
