What are your goals with posting on LinkedIn? This question I asked myself as I started posting content frequently on here. I read Finite and Infinite Games by James P. Carse and this key point was memorable to me: - Finite games consist of predetermined rules and a clear endpoint. - Infinite games are open-ended and are driven by creativity and imagination. This inspired to think about posting goals for myself. You can certainly have both initially. However, it's useful to think about what you want to keep playing long term. Ultimately I leaned into an infinite game building my brand for my online business on technology and productivity. What are your goals related to content creation? If it's finite, do you think you'll keep doing creating once you reach your goals? Will you do it less or more? Follow me, Elia Ahadi, for tips on technology (A.I.) and productivity.

Two of bits I loved seeing in this that are *so* important: 1) Player Fantasy - one of the most crucial bits to trailers is communicating how the game will *feel* to play and 2) Audience hierarchy - so many stakeholders will put too broad an audience or not clarify primary vs secondary. Knowing these help tremendously in the feedback stages to prioritise what is most important to get right when budgets and time are tight. Also campaigns often feature multiple trailers and so you need to understand how they work together and target different parts of your funnel and audience As always Derek shares supremely helpful advice!
