A Fork in the Road… A couple of months ago, as our daughter Elinor Kry was waiting at JFK airport with a friend, ready to board a flight to Paris for Fashion Week, she received an unexpected phone call. A renowned production company was offering her a three-day photo shoot in Pennsylvania. What would you do? Life often presents us with these forks in the road when we least anticipate them. Elinor, a student at NYU Tisch School of the Arts faced a tough decision that she felt could significantly impact her career's trajectory. In a surprising move, she chose to skip the Paris flight and instead took a cab home, catching an early morning flight to Pennsylvania. It wasn't until later that we learned the production company belonged to Solange Knowles, Beyoncé's sister. Last week, the project— Monuments Are Here from Saint Heron —was released, and Elinor's photo graced the cover of the film's poster. Not only did she seize the opportunity in Pennsylvania, but afterward, she flew to Paris, where she captured the Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2025 collection, Dior, and the final Dries Van Noten runway. As a father, I'm incredibly proud of how she listened to her inner compass—values, passions, and long-term goals—and made a tough decision guided by her north star. I truly believe that whatever path you choose, you should embrace it fully. There is no such thing as a "wrong" decision—only opportunities to learn and grow, which I have embraced throughout my own career. Each path comes with its own set of challenges and rewards, and the lessons you learn along the way will shape you into a more resilient and well-rounded person. #prouddad #forkintheroad

Good luck to her Chinam Kry .... funny I have just finished delivering a session to a group about North Star and Mission and Inner Compass 40-mins ago. So it really resonated with me. And so true about 'No such thing as a Wrong Decision".............mostly ;-) When the chips are down - "North Star" & "Why" are your compass points.

That is so cool! I love hearing about Elinor's journey. I still think of her as a 9 year old kid!
