$418 million. That’s a number you don’t hear every day! Recently, the National Association of Realtors announced a settlement of this magnitude to end landmark antitrust lawsuits. The $418M eliminated commission rules and took care of damages. But what does this mean for the future of the industry? Many brokers could go out of business or even become obsolete as a whole. The standard 6% commission sellers receive is no more. Buyer and seller negotiations will be even more complex. There’s a lot of uncertainty and change to prepare for. #RealEstate #NationalAssociationOfRealtors #RealEstateSettlement
