Yesterday was Day 1 of the Digital Marketing Growth Programme(#DMGP) hosted by Girls in Marketing. This was my first time learning and hearing from the Queen herself, Olivia Mae Hanlon. Whose story, growth and knowledge are truly inspirational. When I saw that Girls in Marketing was offering a FREE Digital Marketing Growth Programme, I knew I had to jump in on it! And BOY am I glad I did. Day 1 was fast paced, packed with valuable information, divided into two sessions. Session 1: Audience Analysis  → Main takeaway: If you think you know your consumers, guess again. And again. The consumer journey is crucial to brands, and if you aren’t taking time to understand and really know your audience on a deeper level, are you really capturing them? Creating messaging curated for your loyalist is KEY to a successful campaign. Session 2: Data-Driven Email Marketing Strategy → Main takeaway: “There is no marketing without Data” - Beth O'Malley There will be so much information to dissect before, during and after a campaign launches, and there are so many different stories the data can tell. It can be overwhelming to come up with campaign insights and learnings, but it is the most rewarding. The beauty of it is you can always adapt and evolve. There is nothing I love more than learning from successful leaders in this field!
