🥹 This has been my face quite literally all week. One more nod of recognition this week to share here, another one from Exit Five. I wrote Dave Gerhardt and Anna Vermillion the mushiest email when they sent this one to me earlier this week, after also naming me to their list of B2B marketers to follow 🫣 Community is everything. And when you really participate in your communities, it can change your life. I've lurked in Exit Five for a long time (since the Facebook group days), asking questions here and there – but this year, I decided to really show up. And now there are *so many* amazing new humans in my life. People who have freely gone out of their way to help me in times of need, offering so much support and wisdom. I feel really lucky and am more fulfilled in my professional life than ever before. However it's hard to ask for or accept help without immediately reciprocating. I'm so aware of how much my life has changed because of my community... but of course the brilliant minds behind the scenes pushing me forward never want anything in return. So I try to pay it forward by showing up, offering help, and being the support for others that I’ve been so lucky to receive. This has apparently resulted in many many comments within the Exit Five community 😅 To everyone who has helped me grow this year: thank you x a million and if any of you think I can be of service to you in some way... you know where to find me.
