Charlie from my recent 200+ conversations with jobseekers, reorgs are still prevalent even during the hiring process. This means that even with a final “yes”, offer, or start date there is a possibility that the role may be removed. I’ve had this happen 3 times recently, and while it’s a tough pill to swallow it’s no one person’s fault. Rather, it speaks to the persistent lack of stability you mentioned in your last point.
