💥This is a fantastic visual.💥 Within the context of Supportive Environment, I'd like to add the notion of investing in employee mental health. By this I mean, recognize that we are all human. EAPs, mental health days; all of these services are beyond vital BUT, in my opinion, not where it ends. 💥Supportive Environment also includes: 💫Clear, consistent lines of communication (In 2024, we should have nailed down how to regularly communicate within an organization. There are about 300 different types of technological advances here.) 💫Constructive criticism (Employees shouldn't wonder if they are meeting your expectations.) 💫Constructive accolades (Am I doing something well? Let me know but perhaps also tell me where ELSE I could use the same method to do better in other aspects of my job too!) 💫Shout Outs (I don't believe people when they say they don't want this attention haha!) 💫Mentorship Programs: Hear me out haha (Have a new employee? Have a more senior employee that loves to collaborate and is great at their job? Put them in a Zoom room together for an hour! This is something I would LOVE to do for a coworker!) Let's be human beings rather than just human doings 😁
