I recently was able to co-direct, film, and edit a commercial for Flanneljax's! We're trying to take more advantage of social media marketing, and this was a prototype project of sorts to dip our toes in to what we're potentially capable of. It felt good to use my film and video skills again, and I can't wait to work more with them to create content and expand our reach!

Such good insight!
We all know a bad advertisement when we see one 👀...but what makes a good ad? Ryan Reynolds, co-founder of Maximum Effort, says the key is to "drop the artifice...consumers know when they are being marketed to." "That becomes a much more shareable piece of content," he says. A big lesson Reynolds said he learned marketing Deadpool was that audiences love to have authorship over the success of something. "If you're authentic with them, and you're honest with them, I think they really help achieve that goal." What's the #1 key to creating a great advertisement? Let us know in the comments below.

What are two indirect content strategies you can learn from one of the most successful social media entertainment platforms in modern history besides YouTube? You guessed right- Worldstarhiphop dot com. They did not get popular by promoting upcoming and current season artists on their platform to give constructive criticism and feedback and sell their merch. They got popular because, number one, they had their own Only Fans years ago. A lot of video vixens and models would post erotic photos and videos, high-quality photos and videos on that platform to get people to like their pages so they can sell their own merch. That brought attention to Worldstarhiphop dot com. Secondly, their own members would post videos of chaotic times in real life. If a fight at a bar or a guy catches his girlfriend cheating, he posts it on Worldstarhiphop dot com, and people share it. They could use these strategies to evoke emotion to get a following. Those are the two indirect ways you can build a following. https://lnkd.in/eM638h6V

A significant part of advertising videos consists of short clips. These short social media clips were later used on the company's Instagram and other accounts. The process always began with finding the right song for the right sport, then selecting the best shots and bam! ;) These short edits were edited while our Founder was an editor at a production company in Vienna. . . . . . #SocialMediaAgency #DigitalMarketing #ContentCreation #VideoEditing #BrandingDesign #GraphicDesignServices #SoundDesign #ColorGrading #SFX #MarketingConsulting #SocialMediaManagement #CreativeAgency #MarketingStrategy #ContentMarketing #BusinessBranding #DigitalStrategy #MonthlyPackages #BrandDevelopment #CreativeMarketing #SocialMediaGrowth

Reminder you still need to have your creators mark videos as an ad or promotion - the common viewer doesn't know [insert brand]Partner is a promotion, especially if you're taking a more organic - don't make it look like an ad approach. Seeing far too many

If 1 % of all creators are genuinely talented and creative, at least 60-70% of creators are good at copying creative and viral content Meaning, you can't expect every free sample will go to the 1% of most talented, but at least when one video hits (with enough volume as prerequisite), you have hundreds of other affiliates who can copy and iterate the same video concept and angle You need to be ready to double volume when virality comes

Are you capturing the attention of your audience online? A lot of people are making the mistake of doing something completely crazy to get your attention, searching for likes. Whilst humour and disruptive behaviour are great elements to put in your marketing campaigns, they at least need to be relevant to your brand and product. If your marketing campaign is based solely around someone dancing in a panda suit, or sharing your cat singing along with you, then please let us know. First of all, we want to see that content, second of all, we'd like to help you keep your video marketing campaigns relevant. #Random #MakeSense #StandingOut Imagine just sharing random stuff cobbled together, huh?

The only thing content creators love more than filters is the opportunity to be “unfiltered” in our content We, #ContentCreators are looking for #brands without trust issues - we want to be trusted more than your boyfriend does on a Saturday night when he’s out with his boys. We want the brand video to work. More than anything else. IT’S US AGAINST THE #ALGORITHM. Not you vs us! We are borderline obsessed with content and try & test every day with what people engage with. Paid or not, we post something almost every day & we do our best to make our brand reel our most successful work. But if it looks like an AD, chances are bleak! And I get that brands have the pressure of getting approved “internally” but the netizens are a tricky game! Only #authenticity works! And they can smell an ad more than a celebrity break-up! So, dear brands, if you want to unlock the full potential of your content creators, do us all a favour and give us a killer brief along with an open canvas! And lots of trust. Trust us and it'll be the best decision you ever make! We want your trust more than we want your money ❤️🤙🏾

Working on social media accounts for films and television series, I can think of no bigger compliment than "Does a fan run this account?" Creating content that not only excites fans, but makes them feel heard and seen is a major goal of mine. Here's my guiding principle creating social content for entertainment franchises-- No matter what you're working on, no matter you're opinion of it, is someone's favorite thing. It's someone's favorite book series, film, or game. Their favorite character. Their favorite director, actor, or writer. It's a story they grew up with, that they watched with their dad or their mom read to them. Or the first work they saw themselves reflected in. It's something they find meaningful. It's a writer's labor of love. It's an aspiring actor's big break. It's a director's vision. It's the result of hundreds of people's hard work and effort. It's the object of a fandom, big or small, that cares passionately about it. And it's our job to promote it and care about it just as much as they do. If you always keep that thought in mind, it will guide you to create content that fans will not only appreciate, you will create content that fans will SPREAD. #socialmediamarketing #entertainmentmarketing

📱Lights, camera, action! 🎬 When it comes to recording killer content for social media, simplicity is key. No need for fancy gear Just grab your trusty phone with a top-notch camera, ensure you’ve got good lighting (natural or otherwise), invest in a quality microphone for crystal-clear sound, and consider snagging a tripod for steady shots. Let’s keep it real, folks it’s about sharing your story, not making a Hollywood blockbuster! #ContentCreators #socialmedia #marketingtools
