Lord Darzi's report highlighted a crucial point: the NHS needs more than quick fixes. It needs sustainable, systemic changes. Our recent endoscopy transformation project https://lnkd.in/eRTSgB4X proves this is possible. By implementing a Management Operating System across four NHS Trusts, we've created lasting improvements: - Standardised processes across Trusts - Enhanced visibility in appointment planning - Real-time decision-making capabilities - Improved staff morale and patient satisfaction The key? A structured framework that becomes part of the service's DNA, not just a temporary solution. #NHSImprovement #SustainableHealthcare #Changeology

Using data to support learning and improvement is the core of what Voice of the Patient aims to do. It is so exciting to see this data and how great care leads to excellent patient outcomes. #WorldPatientSafetyDay #PrivateHealthcare #VOP #PatientSafety
This month, we marked World Patient Safety Day on September 17. Every week, we have been highlighting insights and findings around patient safety, experience and wellbeing from the Voice of the Patient. So, what’s the key to better patient wellbeing and safety? Voice of the Patient continually finds that underpinning the excellent work of many private hospitals in Australia is their ability to communicate and engage proactively with patients. Discussing patient needs, making sure they feel heard and cared for, and addressing their pain in a timely manner, are what differentiate the best hospitals in the country. This is especially true if we look at key diagnosis groups, such as knee and hip surgeries – both of which are important elective procedures largely funded and delivered by Australia’s leading private healthcare sector. By surveying patients and understanding their experiences and perspectives on outcomes, we can collectively work to improve patient safety, wellbeing and experiences across the board. Head over to Voice of the Patient to learn more about how AHSA is supporting our world class private healthcare sector to deliver the best care possible. #WorldPatientSafetyDay #PrivateHealthcare #AHSA #PatientSafety

Lincor is joining calls on the UK Government to prioritise IT spending in the upcoming budget (due to be announced on 30th October). According to the BBC, Prof Frank Smith of the Royal College of Surgeons of England recently commented: “If the new government wants to show it is serious about meeting its pledge to cut waiting times, it must provide capital funding for NHS buildings and IT in the autumn Budget, later this month." https://lnkd.in/eRQg3ghJ We couldn't agree more. While the government's 10-year plan for the NHS focuses on a shift from analogue to digital, this will only be achieved with targeted spending in the most efficient areas of technology. More effective use of patient data and easier to access records for staff, combined with better digital-first patient experiences, must be prioritised if rocketing wait times are ever to be seriously tackled. #UKbudget #autumnbudget #patientexperience #patientengagement #HealthcareInnovation #PatientOutcomes #DigitalHealth #NHS #hospitals #patients #medtech #data #IT #tech #HealthTech
