The HITRUST framework and assurance methodology are well known but often misunderstood. So, it was extremely helpful to have Ryan Patrick from HITRUST join Ryan Winkler and me on the 360 Advanced webinar yesterday. He was able to shed some light on why HITRUST is one of the most trusted assurance vehicles in the marketplace. Watch a recording of the webinar: https://lnkd.in/eyZYGixj Here are several highlights from the conversation. - HITRUST is not only for healthcare. - The association between HITRUST and FedRAMP. - Artificial Intelligence is a priority for HITRUST. - The release of version 11.3. - What it means to be threat adaptive. - The difference between the R2, i1 and e1 certifications. - The brand new HITRUST “Trust Report” – See here: https://lnkd.in/eM95RnuV - And much more…. My take: Yes, HITRUST can be difficult to get through and takes a healthy financial investment to implement and maintain. That is because HITRUST is making a significant investment in creating a framework and methodology that goes way beyond a “check the box” exercise. By becoming HITRUST certified, you will improve your security posture and provide an extremely high level of assurance to your stakeholders. This is where compliance and security meet in all the best possible ways. Watch the webinar and let me know your thoughts.
