With the integration of Dewesoft accelerometers into our bridge WIM system, we can now get new insights into the behavior of the bridge. In a recent project, a convoy of four heavy vehicles crossed a bridge in 12 seconds. The passage of these vehicles can clearly be seen in the output of accelerometers - this event caused the largest deflection of the bridge during our one-month measurement, surpassing deflections caused by far heavier vehicles. #SHM #bridges
