If freestylers are recovering the arms all over the place and at all sorts of angles, their body is going to be moving all over the place. And that is going to create a lot of resistance. This is an effective drill that can be used for many different reasons. One focus for me is helping swimmers feel direct arm recoveries that don’t disrupt alignment. If they can feel it with the arms recovering underwater, they’ll have the context for making it happen over the surface. By putting swimmers in postions where they can more easily execute the key skills, we create change FAST. For more on how to create change, check out the article linked below. https://lnkd.in/eb58NMGj

Iron Sights or Red Dots, what's best for you? In the past 10-15 years red dots on pistols have really caught on and why not? They are great! I started out my shooting journey 20+ years ago with iron sights. At first I was resistant to try red dots and get used to the adjustment, but now I don't want to live without them. They are great for people with astigmatism issues, vertigo issues, poor eye sight, and I find them more accurate than iron sights. Disagree with me? Let's discuss! #bestdefensefirearms

COOKE S4I combines the Oscar-winning cam-type focus system with the advantages of a large-diameter lens barrel, which can add many focus marks, especially for close focus. Spherical aberration is controlled over the focal length range, without the need to compensate for back focus changes via the aperture. The 4-point bearing ensures smooth, backlash-free focus movement. And the focus scale on both sides of the barrel is large and clear, which brings great convenience to the focus puller when shooting in low light conditions.

Bad backstroke entries always lead to bad backstroke timing. If the arms entering behind the head, it’s impossible to swim with great rotation timing. A simple way to help swimmers understand where their arms are in space is use clock drill. Help them get control over where their arms are, and they can start to put them where they need to be. For more on how to improve timing in ANY stroke, check out the article below. The PRINCIPLES are always the same. https://lnkd.in/eiQjuEZ2

More quick matrix and quaternion rotation/growth stuff. Creating the joints from some random online tree model was so painful. Orientations are so wrong as the reference frame was created with Orient along curve. Will pass the rotation/scale through CHOPS for some proper lag and overshoot in next one. #Houdini #SideFX #VEX
