This fall the Mobility Authority celebrated the opening of 183 Trail by sponsoring several community events along the 183 Toll corridor and giving back to the community with a bike giveaway. Marking the final enhancements along US 183 between US 290 and SH 71, the project was designed with the goal of balancing the need for modernization of this key arterial with the community’s desire to preserve its history and celebrate the culture and spirit that makes east Austin so unique. We hope you and yours can join our winners along the trail, taking time to learn about the community and its history on interpretive signage installed at 12 locations along the corridor, and enhanced with augmented reality using our app, Trail Explorer by CTRMA.
