On the first day, Univ. -Prof. Dr. Wolfgang H. Schulz H. Schulz, along with his co-authors Oliver Franck and Vincent Geilenberg, presented their paper titled "Central Asia’s Growing Role as a Transport Corridor: Econometric Analysis of GDP and Freight Transport Growth and Implications for Global Trade and European Policy." Their study delves into the economic intricacies of Central Asia and the South Caucasus through comprehensive growth and transportation models. The findings provide invaluable insights for European and global policymakers, emphasizing the pivotal role of Central Asia as a crucial transport corridor. The session, focusing on Political Economy in Eurasia, was expertly chaired by Pauline Jones, Professor of Political Science at the University of Michigan and the Edie N. Goldenberg Endowed Director for the Michigan in Washington Program. On Friday, Wolfgang H. Schulz chaired the session "Political Economy in Europe" and subsequently served as a discussant for the session "Development and the Environment." Dr. Annerose Tress and Henrik Kleis presented their paper titled "Re-Envisioning European Competitive Dynamics: Institutional Role Models in Driving Non-Discriminatory Collaborative Innovations for Road Network Digitization" on the final day of the conference. The paper highlights the major challenges of collaboration using the example of the #digitalroad. Complexity, trust, and synchronization problems are just a few of the issues addressed. The contribution of #IRM to solving these problems is outlined in our research. We gained valuable insights through engaging discussions. Thank you for the wonderful experience, MPSA - Midwest Political Science Association. #MPSA #PoliticalScience #ConferenceInsights #GlobalPolicy #CentralAsia #TransportCorridor Zeppelin University, Friedrichshafen
