What's the point of having a website if it isn't converting? Your website copy isn’t just words on a screen. It’s the difference between: ↳ Visitors leaving confused, never again looking back. ↳ Visitors turning into buyers hitting "add to cart” If it’s not speaking to your audience in the way they need to hear it. Is your website copy out of date? 🤔 I know I repeat myself (... a lot!), but it’s important to keep your website content relevant and up-to-date so your visitors can easily find the information they need. So, when you're having a look at your website, here are a few signs that your website copy may be out of date: 1️⃣ Your products or services have changed As your business changes over time, it's easy for your website copy to get left behind - still reflecting your old offerings. If this is you, it’s time to update it. You don't want your customers getting confused, or asking for services and prices you no longer provide. 2️⃣ You’re not getting the customers you should Your website has the potential to bring you clients or customers you really want to work with, it should be driving sales and leads. If you know your website traffic is high but conversions are low, it could be because of outdated copy that isn't effectively communicating your value. 3️⃣ Your messaging feels irrelevant Your website copy should reflect the concerns of your audience, showing them a reflection of their situation and how you can change their world. If the messaging on your website doesn't resonate with the people you want to work with... well, it's not working!
